I went to this dentist with horrible tooth pain on my lower left teeth. I told her that it felt like my face was paralyzed and the pain radiated all the way to my ear and head. I stated that I grind my teeth but that I had been wearing my mouth guard and the pain had not gotten better in a week. In fact, I stated the pain felt exactly like it did when I once needed a root canal, if not worse. She took x-rays and stated everything was fine, the pain was from grinding my teeth, despite me asking why it had not gotten better since I was wearing my mouth guard even during the day. A week passed and I kept contacting the office to let the dentist know the pain was not any better and something was very wrong. She stated that it was fine and would go away. I finally went to another dentist and found out I had one tooth that was infected and dead and another tooth that was cracked. The dentist never apologized for this huge error but simply made excuses. I will now be in pain for about six months due to the nerve damage the infection caused, something that could have likely been avoided if I had not stayed an extra week with the infection due to her medical advice. Prior to this, this dentist did a crown for one of my teeth. I had to go back at least four times (I believe if not more) to have the crown redone because it was not lining up properly. She finally stated that it was good. A few months later, I believe, I had tooth pain and went to another dentist. It turns out the crown had not been lined properly, food had gotten stuck, and the tooth had decayed further. She did not apologize but instead put the blame on the lab. Stay away.

After being an employee in this office, I would not suggest this particular Great Expressions office to anyone. The office manager is rude, inconsiderate, speaks ill of her employees in front of patients, and sits at the front desk on her personal cell phone shopping with a dental pick in her mouth when she isnt taking 4 hour lunch breaks. The doctor is amazing and I feel bad that she has to endure the unprofessional behavior of the office manager. Besides the office being outdated, which can be corrected, the office manager brings an extremely negative mood to the staff and most patients. In my 6 months there I had numerous patients complain about her. Upper management did nothing to resolve the issue when I reported these things and the "rules" are not followed at all in this office. I was hired as a full time employee (40 hrs /week) and I was lucky to get a two week paycheck with a full 40 hours due to patients leaving the practice due to her unprofessional attitude. I do believe that the doctor and hygienist are very well educated and suggest only the treatments they deem necessary. They are very conservative when it comes to asking patients to have procedures done. In a company that is only concerned about money and not their patients or employees, I feel that these two professionals actually hold high standards of care and treat their patients based on need and not money. If Dr. Aluwahlia ever leaves Great Expressions, I would absolutely be a patient of hers.

I have been going to this office for 8 years, I am so happy with the Doctor and staff, they will go out of the way to help me with anything. I will never change this office. The office Manager is so knowledgeable when it comes to insurance and Finances, she is very sensitive while trying to help me with my co-pays and my finances, she always remembers me when I go to the office, always listen to my stories and I know she is because when I go there the following apt she would ask me about it, she gets very personal with me and I like the attention she gives me, she is very nice, very smart, and very well behaved, she is very helpful, every time I go there I ask for the office manager because she will solve any issue or problems that I might have with my account. Doctor is the nicest lady I have ever met, she is very gentle at what she does and very professional and well prepared for answering any question that I might have. I was reading some of this reviews and I was shocked how people dont have the ability to know what they have on the front of them. I have my business and when I hire people, I always looking to hire people with the same quality as Greatexpressions walled lake STAFF. Dont believe everything you read on this reviews. go check it out yourself and you will be as happy as I am.

I will begin by saying this place ROCKS!!! I know people have a fear going to the dentist like myself but this place is amazing. The dentist and the receptionists and the assistants are so welcoming and friendly. The dentist always takes her time to explain every procedure she is doing . She is very supportive and thorough when explaining the process. She is professional and has a naturally lovely personality. I would highly recommend her to everyone. She is the BEST!! As far as the girls they are just as sweet as can be too. The facility is always clean and well maintained. The girls are always trying to do their best on getting you in on your scheduled times. I usually go on my lunch break and have no issues on timing. Very organized indeed!! I have to say I am not afraid of going to the dentist anymore!! Thank you guys for everything you do!! Every imagine what it would be like to have a dentist chair in your basement that you could go to whenever you had a dental emergency or just wanted to feel comfortable and know that your dental team had your back? That is what I feel when I go to see Rolanda, Dr. Ahluwalia, Jamie, Sandy and Matilda at Great Expressions Walled Lake! I have been going here for over 5 years and can say that the other 45 years of dental experience has been, well, usually scary! I have had experiences that made me feel like cattle, waiting in a BIG waiting room for almost an hour for a cleaning. Ive sat in dentist offices that had equipment older than me! From annual cleanings to emergency cracked teeth or missing crowns, the team at Great Expressions treats me like family, genuinely cares about me, always goes the extra mile to make sure my family and I are taken care of!

Does not work with you on payment plans what do ever so if you only have a limited amount of time to pay it off then dont do it because now I have to pay over twice the amount I was suppose to pay die to the fact I fell on hard times. And the money j paid is poor gone! Horrible place will not be returning

The staff was nice, the building is very outdated and when receiving any sort of medical or dental care can be intimidating. They tried to perform extra procedures then were not needed after seeking another opinion. I will be trying to new dentist for my next cleaning...
