I writing this review to make consumers aware of the unacceptable charges applied by Dr. Odell and her office. Many consumers have healthcare that covers doctors visits with minimum charges and may not realize that this is happening. I have a high deductible plan so I have become very conscious of doctor and insurance bills. On a recent visit to Dr. Odell for an illness, I had to wait almost an hour to be seen. Once seen, I spent around 5 minutes with Dr. Odell. I had an ear infection and was given a prescription for antibiotics. The office billed my insurance $215 for a "long visit." I contacted the office because I thought it must be an error. I spoke to Dr. Odell. She that since we discussed many things, this was the appropriate charge. This was not the case and how many things could really be discussed in approximately 5 minutes. She said this is just how things work nowadays. I would recommend double checking your bills and looking for a different doctor.

Doctor ODell has been my family doctor about eight years. She spends a great deal of time with me during my visits. I never feel rushed when trying to explain my problems. She discusses thoroughly what she thinks is my problem, how she arrived at my diagnosis, and explains the course of treatment in a straightforward manner. She really listens and she really cares.
