Dr. Blake is a terrific doctor and people person. Her exams are the most thorough I have ever had, and she was able to fit me with a prescription that is perfect for work at my computer. Her affection and devotion to her patients is very obvious. Just recently, a woman was berating her very young son because he was fearful of the eye drops that she uses to dilate pupils and Dr. Blake was very warm and encouraging. Im afraid the Mom was not up to the encounter and felt that her parental authority was being challenged and stalked out, complaining that "that Dr. Blake dont know how to talk to her." We know that Dr. Blake is the best, though, and she handled the situation quite professionally.

She is nice but not as thorough as you would think. I mean she conducts her exam very meticulously...I visited her for my 1 year post lasik exam and was very impressed; which is what led me to bring my son to her for contacts. Again thoroughly conducted the exam, but when it came to sizing his contacts after his first trial; she didnt seem to want to try again...not what Im used to. For me when I wore contacts, Ive had times where Ive had to try 3 or 4 prescriptions to get it right, which meant 3 or 4 trials. She wanted to prescribe the lenses to my son without a trial and follow up! On top of that, her front desk staff are a bit clueless. Very nice people, but I wont be back.

Dr. Blake is great! Her exams were always very thorough and she spent time talking to you and always answered any questions I had in a very understanding manner. I was very disappointed when I went to re-order my contacts and realized my prescription expired so my order did not process. I called up the office and was about to schedule an appointment with them but when I asked if I could get one pair of contacts to hold me over until my next appointment the receptionist simply said no. I thought it was standard that vision places would offer a pair of contacts while you waited for your next appointment but apparently this place does not.

Dr. Blake was very patient with me because Im not a fan of getting my eyes checked. She was painlessly thorough - she spent a lot of time examining my eyes and I didnt find it bothersome or uncomfortable. And I had a great time picking out my frames. I almost bought a pink pair, but liked the taupe version better, so they special ordered them for ME! Thank you Dr. Blake and staff!

My daughter and I have been patients of Dr. Blake for at least 10 years. She is very patient and thorough. She takes her time to explain the process and answer any questions you may have. She is one of the best eye doctors I have ever seen. I am a life long patient and appreciate her service.
