I literally fly back to Chicago once a year so I can keep seeing Dr. Hubka. She has spoiled me to the point where I cant seem to get along with any other OB/Gyns. I had my first child under Dr. Hubkas care, and I did not know how lucky I was until I had my 2nd child in a different city. Dr. Hubka works with her patients, not as an angry dictator but as a partner in the medical choices you have to make. She explains the options, gives her opinions, but ultimately respects the informed decisions her patients make - and to me that is invaluable and almost impossible to find in a medical professional, especially an Obstetrician. It is true that the wait times are sometimes extremely long - but thats because she is spending time with her other patients, just as she will do for you, or is delivering someones kid (not foisting that responsibility off on a colleague or resident). Expect and plan for a 2 hour wait, and 90% of the time you will be happily surprised when she is on time. I really cant say enough good things about her. She is knowledgable, competent, friendly, willing to go the extra mile with her patients (she recommended her personal pediatrician and got us in a closed-to-new-patients practice when I had a rotten experience with my first sons first doc), and she never uses the panic-inducing technique of trying to scare her patients into doing what she wants. Shes ethical, brilliant, and makes a generally unpleasant experience (lets face it... Gynecologist appointments are NO ONEs favorite) a little less irritating.

Do not use this office! WORST experience I have ever had with a doctors office. The customer service with the office manager, Jolynn was horrible. First, I was attempting to get antibiotics and the doctor was out of the country, I was told I would have to wait 5 days for antibiotics. The office had to wait till the Dr responded to her email and they had no time frame for when she would respond. Secondly, when trying to get my prescription figured out I was met with nothing but road block after road block with Jolynn the office manager. Again, the Doc was out of the country for two weeks and I was given no time frame of when she would respond. I was repeatedly hung up on by this "manager" and have never been treated so rudely. I will never be back and would not want anyone else wasting their time or money at this office.

My girlfriend had nothing but problems with this doctors office. She waited an hour and a half after her appointment time to be seen on multiple occasions. Poor customer service, the doctor feels that they are doing you a favor by seeing you. Go elsewhere.

Shes really good. She delivered or first baby but my wife always waits 2 hrs for an appointment. A 12pm appointment turns into being seen at 2pm. Waste of a lot of time.
