I went to Physio Partners because I had tried everything else for my scoliosis and arthritis without much success and wanted to try Schroth PT. I worked with Stephanie Penny on my back in anticipation of spinal fusion surgery, which I just completed, and I wanted to tell you about my experience. I had a small thoracic curve and a significant lumbar curve, as well as kyphosis in my thoracic spine. I had tried many forms of physical therapy and other modalities and none of them really made much of a difference. When I came to Physio Partners, I was instantly impressed with Stephanies understanding of scoliosis and the detail with which she analyzed my particular spine with its challenging curves. The work we did together made a huge difference in my comfort level while waiting to complete the surgery. It also resulted in a remarkable change in my alignment. The contrast between the x-rays before physical therapy and after physical therapy is quite amazing. Her caring attitude and constant creativity at finding new ways to lengthen my torso/spine, completely fix the pain from my lower rib knocking into my hip bone, straighten out my posture, and make me stronger were fantastic. She also was so supportive at a difficult time in my life. I am now six weeks past my spinal fusion, and I credit a lot of my rehab success to Stephanies work to get me into the best possible condition prior to surgery. Im so fortunate to have found her and so grateful for what she was able to do for me. Not enough people seem to have heard of the Schroth method and so many people could benefit from it. Anyway, I just wanted you to know what a professional and amazing job Stephanie and Physio Partners did for me.

I owe my successful recovery to the wonderful people at LSPT. I had an injury 1.5 years ago that I went to a chain physical therapy clinic for help with and after my return to normal activity, I re-injured and doubled the damage. I came here on a recommendation from my Pilates instructor who is studying to become a PT. She had heard about the holistic approach to assessing the issues and the one-on-one care that you receive with a PT, not a technician, for your entire appointment every appointment. Nowadays that type of care is very hard to find. Add on top of that the incredible therapists on staff who all have extra certifications, the beautiful facility with up-to-date equipment and the front desk staff who is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Another bonus is that theres no funny business when it comes to billing - you know exactly how much youre in for by the time you visit for your first appointment. And the last detail that Ill gush over is how digital and e-friendly the clinic is - all of my exercises are in an online portal so I can login from the gym or at home to see what I should be working on for the week. I moved to the South Loop half way through my treatment here and I still haul my butt up here each week because nothing can compare to the experience Ive had here!!

I am so impressed with my Therapist, Dr. Stephanie Penny. I came to see her after suffering with progressive scoliosis for 30 years. I have tried other therapies, chiropractors etc without any benefit. The "Shroth Method" is helping me to rebalance myself, elongate and become more aware of actions and positions that trigger pain for me. I am so impressed with Stephanies patience and motivation to help me. She listens to my descriptions of pain and thinks/researches after I leave; the next time I see her she has developed new exercises to try. She is open and willing to listen to my feedback. The use of photos/videos have really helped me to realize posture imbalances. I am finding that this awareness will help me to correct actions that are causing me pain. Dr. Pennys knowledge of other specialized therapies sets Lakeshore PT apart from other PT places. The "dry needling" technique she introduced me to was like a magical cure for an old hip pain that I was experiencing. After only one month I feel that Dr. Penny has given me exercises and knowledge to improve my quality of life. If you have been suffering with scoliosis for a long time like me, it is still possible to get some relief without having to go to PT indefinitely.

I came in with a back injury from lifting weights. I finished my therapy not only recovered but with new exercises, stretches, and knowledge about my injury and my body to take better care of myself at the gym and outside the gym. I could tell from day one that Hunter was not only interested in my recovery but in my overall wellness. He listened very carefully and tailored each session to how I was feeling since our last session, not just working on my initial injury. Another thing I really appreciated was that Hunter showed me the exercise or stretch he wanted me to do by doing it himself each and every time, and many times doing it again slower or pausing to help me understand. I would highly recommend Hunter to anyone in need of physical therapy!

This place is great. I worked with Stephanie and Hunter on my knee after arthroscopic knee surgery. They take great care in making sure that you are being taken care of as well as explaining and teaching you what you need to know and do to help your own quality of life. What stood out for me versus other places is the level of professionalism and experience that they bring to the sessions-- they are also passionate and interested in your well-being. They also document and are very organized which helped me in making sure I was doing things right when I was not in session with them. Facilities are clean and up to date.

Ive been going to Lakeshore Sports Physical Therapy for a little over a month now and I am very happy with the results Im getting. I mostly see Angela Wilson Pennisi but I have also been seen by K. Blaire Broers. They are performing PT on my left shoulder and it seems to really be helping. I had PT on my right shoulder a few years back someplace else and the difference is night and day. I highly recommend them for all of your physical therapy needs. They really know what they are doing. Or go there for their yoga classes. Ill never go anywhere else again.

I was extremely pleased with my experience. My therapist, Carrie, was most knowledgeable. She was kind, supportive, and encouraging, but persistent (which I needed). She was always prompt and devoted the full hour to me (something very different from my numerous other PT experiences where they would have me warm up on my own for 10 minutes, give me hot pads for 10 minutes, and electronic stimulation for 10 minutes while seeing 2 or 3 other patients at the same time). This is a wonderful facility and I highly recommend them. Thank you for all your help.

Have had incredible customer service at PhysioPartners. Really helpful PT and massage work. They helped me stay healthy and get stronger for my first half marathon, and I ran it faster than I ever thought I could! They were attentive and responsive, and I really felt like my program of in-session work and at-home exercises were tailored exactly to my needs and abilities. (They made sure to make my exercises harder as I got better.) I dealt with ankle instability, ITB and some PF while under their care. Couldnt recommend highly enough!
