The Chicago Lighthouse For The Visually Impaired in my opinion is the most unwelcoming and anti-social institution for the blind Ive ever had the displeasure of visiting. In the two weeks I spent here the majority of those within never spoke or greeted me and everyone seemed to be in their own little group. It just doesnt feel inviting and I couldnt wait to get the you know what out of there. Im sure for many this place has been a great help to them but I have yet to experience that help. I sincerely believe over the years The Chicago Lighthouse has lost focus of its original mission.

Dear beloved. I understand the review distribution here on this website: people can get upset about The Lighthouse for the Blind. I am a vigilante by profession, a title given to me from a dear friend. Most of the people who I help are very appreciative; but, a few dislike me, personally, for what I did for them. Dear friends and siblings, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding." Be kind to one another, like Jesus is kind to us. from, Ronny.

i went in to buy a product, a clock, they did not have it. They immediately took me to the industrial area and built the one that I wanted. They offered me water and a nice place to sit and wait. They could not have been more accommodating and professional. No extra charge. I was in and out in less than thirty minutes.
