So I cant stay Ive ever written a review before. I have a lot better things to do with my time. But after telling this story to friends and family I was convinced that something had to be done. I called a couple of different stores to find out where the main headquarters is and finally got the answer of "Berwyn" and then was transferred to the "Glen Ellyn" location. When I did call the Berwyn location I asked to speak to some type of high end manager or director and was told the director doesnt have a number and goes all over. It was then that I gave up, I can see this company has more problems then just this Glenview location. So I got an eye exam at Pearl Vision in Glenview. My family told me not to buy from them and to go somewhere better to get my glasses and contacts. I have a pretty low prescri0tion according to the Dr there but for work I like to have both my contacts and glasses for presentations. I ended up in this parking lot cause I went for lunch at Corner Bakery and has to go to Jewel so I decided to go into Rosin Eyecare to order. I walked into a completely empty store. No one was there. I called out "hello" a couple of times and walked further down. I started looking around, the frames seemed disorganized and most were out of style. Finally a girl comes out of the back down a hallway and says can she help me. I say "Ive been waiting here a while now?" And her reply is well can I help you. NO APOLOGY. So I tell her I have a prescription from Pearl Vision and I want to order glasses and contacts. She asks for the prescription and I say, I dont have it. They didnt give me it I dont think. So she rudely reply with well I cant help you without a prescription. You need to get it and come back. So I say, can You get it? Can you have them send it? She looks annoyed and says she cant because they will take too long to send it and its easier for me to go get it. So I leave, travel back to Pearl Vision, get it and come back. When I get back the same rude girl is on the phone, which sounded like a personal conversation. When she gets off, I ask questions about some glasses options. She tells me I need a certain material (cant think of the name of it) and Antiglare contacting and I need to order a year supply of contacts. I ask, lets go over all the options. Then the phone rings and she takes that call and has me wait over 20 minutes to continue to help me. I get theres no one else there, but I was first! I kindly explain at that point that Im getting annoyed. First off, the phone calls are more important than me. Second, she made me travel back there. She tells me that shes giving the best service she can and there are many other options for me if I dont like it. I kindly showed myself out at this point, went to a different eye care place and spent well over $800. I work hard for my money and do not want to be disrespected like this . I picked Rosin Eyecare because I believe in helping the little guy, not corporate places. But they dont deserve the help obviously.

Negative -5 star review Lousy horrible eye care facility. The eye doctor Ryan Sockwell s pathetic, how he missed eye astigmatism is beyond me, because of his failure to evaluate me my eyes went worse within 7 months. I have astigmatism my entire life but he missed it and he checked eyesight twice within 2 months of my complaining about my vision. The entire staff is lousy, they lost my eye glasses had me wait 4 months and never bothered to follow up with me and or re-order my glasses. Didnt even explain to me what options are with the type of lenses are, what features can be added or not, and there is a Sarah who is less than desirable, the customer service manager Kelly, she is flat out ignorant and stupid, never followed up with me for them losing my eye glasses. Take it from my poor experience do not go to the Rosin eye care center in Glenview or any of the other locations. There are many other optical centers to go to. This is a negative 5 star review, at best beyond mediocre is the Rosin Eye Care center, Dr. Ryan Sockwell, Sarah, Kelly, and the entire staff they are horrible and pathetic.

Im written to tell you readers about my terrible experience at Rosin eye care . We schedule a appointment for my wife and me to get eye exam both us and they scheduled. My wife call a day before to confirm and she was told they have only appointment at one oclock for only one of us that was me.( first mistake) ok fine. At the day of the appointment I was checking the address in Google maps and I saw a review for curiosity I opened to read it . It was a guy complaining about he came 2 min late and they want re schedule his appointment . So I said let get early to dont get trouble . I came there a t 12:40 pm. And for my surprise a was told my appointment was at 12:00. So in the front desk was a very inexperienced human being with customers . She even apologize o tried to see what happened. She made me feel that I was lying and didnt give benefit of doubt.

These people dont work at this glenview location?! What is going on! Is this company SO LOW that they have to take the reviews off of other rosin eyecare locations and place them here? To make yourselfs feel better? Dr Nierman - Maya! They dont work at this location. They have a review on here from a person who literally wrote "Had a great experience at the Joliet location" and then the "owner" wrote back that theyre glad they had a good experience at the Glenview location. Uh seriously??? Anyway, staff here is a nightmare. Go to the Niles or Northbrook location theyre close and have much better customer service. Vivian and Matt are slow and dont know what theyre doing and the new manager Omihra is sad and cant handle patient issues to save her life. Cmon guys... get your act together already!

Consistent with the other reviewers, Rosen made a mistake with my appointment as well. I called to change my time the same day of the appointment, they made no record of it and would not see me when I showed up at the new time because the doctor had to go on his lunch break. Rosen insisted I hadnt called, even when I showed them the outgoing call in my phone. The doctor actually came out, not to apologize for the error, but to yell at me about how he may not get to eat lunch. Wow, I almost shed a tear. Unfortunately my 5 year old was the patient and witnessed this. Rosen does not care for the families in the community it serves, but at least they get to eat lunch.

The doctor is amazing. She took her time to make sure I had the right prescription. With my previous prescription, I used to have slight headaches after wearing my glasses for a long time, I never attributed the headaches to the prescription. The Doctor figured out this was occurring based on my previous prescription when she inquired. Then she informed me of the reason. Being a new patient I was fully satisfied and trusted my eye care to my new doctor.
