1.0 star rating 8/24/2013 I had fabulous success controlling my rosacea and a good rapport with dr Gill until I went in to have a small nodule removed from my nose. The dr commented on how great I was with the local anaesthesia needle..I didn t flinch at all... until... I felt an intense burning on the edge of my upper lip that made my eyes water with pain. The dr repeated several times, I couldn t have hit you with the laser. My hand was there... I would ve hit my hand ;. She then explained that the burning I was feeling above my lip was radiant pain from the laser treatment on my nose...everything is connected. She took photos and sent me on my way. Once In the car I realized my "radiant pain" was a lesion above my lip that was already starting to scab over...quite obviously from the laser. Ya gotta love the ethics of a medical professional out and out lying to you just to cover their butt.... To add insult to injury they placed me in collection for the $270 copay I didn t want to pay due to her negligence. So to summarize: I got to walk around in pain since the area above my lip wasn t numbed up at all... I got to wait several weeks while two lesions... not one healed ...and they are ruining my previously perfect credit score. If I go waste my time at their office letting them evaluate the small scar it left behind they said MAYBE they ll take me out of collect; forgive the copay. --as if the size of the scar left behind from the unauthorized laser damage matters?! It s incredulous that the dr makes a mistake that causes me undue pain and she expects me to pay for it. Now I know why there s frivolous lawsuits in our legal system..... horrible customer service. Anyone other than a dr would have eliminated the copay and have thrown in a freebie of some sort... The saga is still going on...over a year later.... Such a shame...everyone makes mistakes.... But, unfortunately not everyone owns up to them...

Bureaucracy as one has come to expect. Youd think it was Springfield. I needed the test results from a second "read" of MY SKIN. Im a knowledgeable consumer of health care. Im a Professor at a state university teaching masters level applied health sciences courses and no stranger to multiple forms of skin cancer. Im also immunosuppressed due to meds for a kidney transplant. This results in fewer internal defenses and cancer spreading more quickly. Am now waiting weeks for a test result as the doctor is not available. It is my skin, my data, my money but their policy. Too bad weeks have past and a patient can sign a form for release of their information. Maybe Ill just play the game sign a release for it to go to a different doctor to get the information... Quit building roadblocks to patient health with your silly policies.

My husband had a great experience with Dr. Gill. She removed a skin tab below left eye with nearly no pain and bleeding. She was informative, precise and cordial. We were very please.
