During the Summer of 2014, after many years of continual back problems, I was in so much pain that I couldnt "do nothing" anymore. Stretching, drinking more water, all the things that I had read could serve as a remedy were not working. I was hesitant to see a Chiropractor for whatever reason, but I finally took the plunge. I googled "Chiropractors Palatine" and ever since then my life has been different. At the first visit, Dr. Eickhorst took x-rays and explained that he would review them over the weekend and let me know if he could help. I definitely appreciated his honesty and candid approach, I didnt get the feeling he was after a payday but rather that he looked forward to the challenge of treating me if he thought he could do some good. I visited again on Monday and he told me that he could indeed help me and that it would take several months to a year to reverse the damage (stage 3 disk issue). After just two weeks (at very reasonable rates I should add) I honestly couldnt believe how much better I was doing. My pain levels were night and day. Now its been two years and I rarely miss an appointment. I havent "thrown" my back out since I started with Dr. Eric, and aside from the occasional stiffness or minor tweak, Ive been basically pain-free. If anyone who reads this is in chronic pain and "throws" their back out on a regular basis, dont hesitate to try Dr. Eric. I feel lucky to have found this place!

I would like to compliment the staff of Eickhorst Family Chiropractic. From the moment I walk through the doors, I’m greeted by Kallie and Savannah, with a friendly smile, and a genuine concern. They are very professional with assisting new patients and regulars like myself, with X-rays, therapeutic traction, to billing, payment, and insurance questions. I am a patient who has had three vertebrae in my neck, successfully fused almost 7 years ago. This surgery was performed to relieve the symptoms caused by my spinal cord being flattened. I’m now under the care of Dr. Eric Eickhorst for over four years. I believe that Dr. Eric personally understands each patients condition, and treats us accordingly. Thanks to Dr Eric, he keeps me in the best chiropractic alignment possible. The benefits are priceless, no more pinched nerves, no sciatica, reduced degeneration of my joints, and a fairly good range of motion with my fused neck. I started going to Eickhorst Family Chiropractic for back pain about five months ago and I have noticed an enormous improvement. I have had chronic back and neck pain for over 20 years due to a spinal fusion, and this is probably the strongest my back has been in that time. Dr. Eric starts out by examining his patients and looking at your x-rays. From there, he puts together a treatment plan to get your spine back to a healthy state. He went to work on my problem right away and I began to improve immediately. I always feel like the care Im getting is unique to me and my specific needs. I haven’t had an acute episode in quite some time, even though I am more active than ever. I continue to see Dr. Eric for routine spine maintenance and I have recommended him to several friends. From the friendly and helpful staff to the interesting architecture of the office, I always look forward to visiting Eickhorst Family Chiropractic. I definitely recommend this office.

Dr eric is just amazing.. I came to him three years ago, completely crippled, walking hunched over,I was told id be like that for life. I tried him out on a recommendation of a friend. Within a month I noticed a huge change in pain and how I walked.. a couple months later I was finally able to walk my dogs again.and I was able to stop taking all the pills the drs told me I needed forever... moved out of town for two years, came home he was the first stop I made, even though my family and I made him late for lunch, he still adjusted all of us with a smile.. he is amazing. And I no longer get migraines or get sick.him and his girls are always smiling and in great moods... its always a pleasure to get adjustments by dr eric... he truly saved my life!!!amazing!

I am a retired Flight Attendant with 25+ years of closing overhead bins with heavy luggage inside as well as lifting luggage into those bins! It is because of that continued motion, I sometimes get headaches and have pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulders. With a quick assessment of my neck and spine, Dr. Eickhorst adjusts me and I feel great! I go to the gym on a regular basis, I ride my bicycle, swim and spend hours in my backyard gardening! I love going to Eickhorst Family Chiropractic because when I walk in the door I am immediately greeted by Callie and Savanah with their happy smiling faces and I immediately pick up on their positive energy.

After years of experiencing crippling migraines and trying but failing to find ways of relief was I finally informed about Chiropractic care. I will be the first to admit that I was skeptical and knew very little about Chiropractic care. Since I have been in, not only have my migraines subsided but I feel overall healthier than ever. Ive heard many great things about seeing a chiropractor and after much procrastination I asked my co-worker for a referral of who she was seeing and thats when I finally made an appointment with Dr. Eric Eickhorst. It has been about 7 months from my first adjustment and I wish I would have found Dr. Eric years ago! Since seeing Dr. Eric I feel my body resetting itself being "healthy" again. Every visit you are greeted with a friendly staff that know you by name and ready to help you with any questions or concerns you may have. You are in good hands with Dr. Eric. Highly recommend!
