My cat had a cancerous growth above her nose. She was 18 years old. Dr. Roberts made her comfortable by giving her cortisone and antibiotics. Her condition worsened. Then the cancerous growth burst and I took her back to Dr. Roberts who had been very kind and understanding. Something strange happened. I was not allowed to see Dr. Roberts but saw his associate - an older lady whose name I would not try to remember. My cat was given more antibiotics. Poor cats nose was wounded in the process and she stopped eating and drinking. By this time she was skin and bone and I thought it was time to put her out of her misery. So she went back to McCormick Animal Hospital and I asked for Dr. Roberts. Again, I was not allowed to see him but saw the older lady vet instead. She said my poor cat was not quite ready to go and gave her some fluid. At this point, I could not understand why the vet would not put an animal down when she was in such a pitiful condition. So my cat was sent home to die. It took several more days, those days were probably the worst days of my life to watch a beloved cat suffering pointlessly. I will not have another pet again because of this heart wrenching experience. My point here is the McCormick Animal Hospital takes good care of well pets, but I would not recommend anyone taking a sick animal there. Dr.Roberts is wonderful, but dont let the lady vet treat your pet.

Hospital before but know of others who have. On Thursday of last week my dog passed away. I ordered paw prints and then called back because I wanted to get my dogs ashes. I talked to Mark at All Paws and he asked me to call the animal hosp because my dog was still there. When I called the hosp and was trying to explain that I wanted to get the ashes of my dog and could I pay them on Thursday the lady I spoke with said she would have to speak with her mgr which she never did. She just proceeded to hurry me along stating All Paws was in a hurry and waiting for her. I didnt understand why she was in a hurry and so insensitive when Mark from All Paws didnt seem to be. Im had already paid their fee and the fee for the paw print. All I wanted was to be to get my dogs. I even offered my card so the hosp could withdraw the money. So my dogs ashes are gone now. But I do believe had she taken the time and not rush me and spoke with her manager maybe whomever the manager is they may not have been as she was.

My dog Chubby had a good size growth on the side of his hind leg. It grew over the past few years and it really started to wear at him. He finally started to draw blood as he was biting at the growth. As with any time I have taken an animal in for surgery, I was worried for my four legged friend. Dr Roberts did such a great job with Chubby and his surgery. I was expecting complications, and there were none. Only good news that the growth was not attached to muscle. I never expected it to heal so well. I have seen other dogs with permanent scars after similar surgery. There are no scars and 100% healed. Thank You Dr Roberts and the friendly staff at McCormick Hospital. You are appreciated and thought of more than you know.

Unfortunately the great care by the doctors is completely over shadowed by the rude cold and dismissive attitude that the receptionists have. Been coming here for over a year and I think its time to find a place where they actually treat you with respect. The two young receptionists are the problem. Dont know their names but there attitude is terrible. This is the last time I come here.

I take my two dogs here. Always f4iendly and very helpfull. D r. Fairbain is one of the best. From my nine year old lab who needed xrays and meds, to my 3 month old berneese, they know animals. Would recomend them to anyone. Yes you pay what you get. Id rather pay a little more and get correct help, than save a buck... TWO OUT OF THREE PAWS UP!!!!

My daughter insisted that I bring my elderly Standard Schnauzer to McCormick after Banfield insisted that diarrhea was, "the new normal." The excellent vets at McCormick got the diarrhea under control, immediately. I credit McCormick with giving us two additional years with our sweet one...we are very grateful!

Dr. Pat and her Staff were so kind and compassionate with my elderly dog. As other reviewers have noted, they dont do anything excessive, other than what the animals need. Their price was reasonable and their service was excellent. They are one of the best clinics in the area.

I needed my dog neuter and it was to expensive for my tight budget. I called the Anticruelty Society and they charged me $125 dollars. Now that was reasonable for me and also the staff were very friendly.

Usually they take me in as a walk in. Which is great. However they are not Always super friendly and a bit over priced. But the convenience of walking in is great.
