Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital is by far the very best. Its the reason I travel 50 minutes to continue to use them after I moved. They provide excellent treatment and provide options to fit any budget. Im surprised at the reviews saying their costs are high. Ive always been provided with estimates up front that provide a variety of treatment options to choose from. Of course, they recommend the plan they feel is best but usually its not the most expensive option. Ive never felt that I have overpaid even a cent given the level of service and treatment they provide. Not only do they take wonderful care of my dogs, they go out of their way to provide superior customer service. Dr. Williams is always happy, always helpful, takes amazing care of each of my pets, and has the utmost compassion for animals and people alike. She truly goes out of her way to keep her patients comfortable, often checking in with me on her days off to make sure my babies dealing with health issues are okay. When my first dog was terminally ill she called me every day including her days off and weekends to check to see if it "was time". I cannot even begin to imagine another vet could compare to the level of service she provides. Dr. House is also very kind and thoughtful. I see him when Dr. Williams isnt available. Ive taken numerous pets here including 5 of my own dogs and too many fosters to count. My only compliant is they dont treat exotics. I have yet to find an exotic vet that provides the quality of service and treatment as HEAH. Though the staff sees a variety of health issues every day, they are always sympathetic and understanding that its likely my first experience with a given health issue or treatment. They have impeccable bedside manner. The vet techs are wonderful too. Michelle often works with my pets and she is amazing. I have a dog that is fearful of people and she is so kind and caring with this dog so shes comfortable. This dog barks and barks and acts hysterical so Im sure this is not a simple task. The front desk staff is also unequaled. They often deal with me while Im in an emotional state due to concern for my pets. Admittedly, Ive been nuts a time or two over the years. I know that their job cannot be easy...dealing with highly distressed people that have sick pets and possibly need treatments that they hadnt budgeted for. Amy at the front desk told me about Care Credit years ago when I was having a mental breakdown over how to treat my terminally ill dog. Im forever grateful to her. They do an absolutely wonderful job and are always composed and professional. Both Amy and Brianna have gone out of their way to help me with special requests that Im certain are not a part of their job. Im beyond grateful for the care that this entire practice provides. They are THE BEST. Every pet and person that walks through their doors is in the very best hands.

I bring my elderly (but feisty) cat to see Dr. Williams. He has a couple of recurring issues, nothing too serious, but still important to treat to keep him healthy. As lovable as he is at home, he is an absolute terror at the vet. Ive had problems with every vet Ive ever brought him to because he tries to bite, hisses, swats and sometimes pees all over the place. Working with Dr. Williams has been incredible. She is always coming up with new tactics to try and keep him calm, and even though it doesnt always work, it has IMMENSELY helped during his appointments. It is nearly impossible to get blood drawn from him (most often we just have to go without), but she has devised a plan where he barely even notices when blood is being drawn because hes distracted by a bunch of different things. Not only is she a fabulous problem-solver, but she also is very friendly with and unafraid of my beast cat, even at his worst. I highly recommend this practice, particularly Dr. Williams, especially if you have a cat who acts like a total jerk at the doctor.

This place does NOT care about you or your pet, all they want is your money. Took in our dog for a cyst removal on his lower back, vet Sandra Behm, said no problem shell remove it, told us the cut would be small. After surgery, she kept saying cut is a little bigger then usual but shes ruined his appearance. The cut on his back was huge, and he had too many stiches. When we asked why is it so big, she kept saying that she had to get the whole cyst out, making excuses because of this and that. Recovery was very hard for him, we called them few times because he was throwing up and had no energy was all worn out from the anesthesia but they kept saying it was normal. Needless to say, 3 months later today, his scar is very big and hes got 2 lumps on each side of the incision. They have ruined his appearance and he is a really good looking dog. For your own good stay away from these money hungry people who pretend they care about your pet!!!! Ohh and the surgery was over $800!!!!!

Organized, welcoming environment and the doctors that I have had the pleasure of interacting with have been gracious, accommodating and kind. I have 2 fur babies that I take to Dr. Williams and I trust her implicitly. They are my "children" so I do not use that term loosely. I had a terrible, anxiety ridden scare with my Shih-Tzu Willie, about 1 1/2 years ago regarding blood work results and scary radiographs. Dr. Williams was scheduled for vacation the following week so Dr. House stepped in and accommodated Willie for an immediate ultrasound. His bedside manner and patience with my neurosis was much appreciated. I have since moved downtown, but for annual exams I will treck out to the burbs because I trust their staff so much. Follow up calls are timely and I love receiving the birthday emails and hospital updates. I highly recommend Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital.

I have entrusted Dr. House and his staff with the care of my dogs for the past 10 years. His ability to diagnose and treat is exceptional. When there have been questions about how to proceed he has always explained my options, and listened to my responses and questions and worked with me to give my dogs the best care. When we have needed additional tests, this well-equipped office, and its doctors who have been trained to perform the tests, have been able to do them without our need to go to a “specialist”—who we didn’t know or have developed a trust with. Dr. Williams and Dr. Behm complete this great team! The hospital is always clean, and we are greeted and treated in a friendly, professional way. I recommend this wonderful hospital wholeheartedly.

My babies are my fur children and since I have brought them to HEAH, I would never take them anywhere else. I originally brought my dog for a second opinion and I never went back to my previous vet because of the staff. Dr. Williams is so wonderful with both my dogs and she makes me feel at ease. She is upfront and honest with you and whenever something is wrong with one of my pups she calls me personally and checks up on them. The front desk staff is wonderful, professional, and accommodating. The vet techs are all so sweet, caring, and knowledgeable. My Italian Greyhound doesn’t usually like people, but she feels safe with them. Overall, I would recommend HEAH to all of my friends and family!
