MY LIFE MOST LIKELY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. I was stupid enough to be talked into doing HyProCure to "fix" my flat feet problem. When I asked the doctor questions regarding the recovery, he told me not to worry and that the recovery is minimal and that some of his patients go to the gym the third day after the procedure. Well let me tell you, you have to be on bed rest for 3 days and after that, you will be wearing a medical boot for at least 3 weeks! He lied to my face just to convince me to do the surgery. After my left foot was done and the boot was removed, I noticed that my leg was making "cracking noises". You know what he did, instead of checking further into it, he put me through another surgery to insert a stent size smaller. Nothing changed, my foot was still making noises so the doctor called the original creators of this procedure and they told him it will wear out. Seriously, couldnt you do it the first time?? He did two surgeries on my left foot and one surgery on my right foot. I kept going to him complaining my feet hurt, all he was doing is giving me some shots and telling me there is nothing that can hurt and kept telling me to come for more shots so he can charge my insurance. I finally changed the doctor because in over 6 month I did not feel better but worse.There was not a single step that would not pain me. I couldnt stand on my feet for more than 15 minutes. When my new doctor saw my feet he was shocked how much inflammation I had all over my feet. He was shocked that dr Spitz did not send me to a physical therapy after the surgery. It has been over 1 year after my surgeries. There is not a single day pass by that I dont get angry with Dr. Spits. I feel better thanks to a diff doctor who gave me noninflammatory medicine. However, after the CT scan it was discovered that my stent rubs off against the bone and I have a beginning state of arthritis. I also have some loose part in there. My current doctor is trying what he can but says he will most likely need to remove the stent. Not a day goes by that my feet dont hurt. My bones are really sensitive to cold floors and hurt a lot as well. And I am only 31 but feel like 60. I didnt wear high hills for over a year now because my feet hurt a lot and this is all after Dr Spitz told me there could be no possible complications. He told me that HyProCure is absolutely safe method. Maybe with other doctors, who provide after surgery care it is the case. But not at this hospital. He will try to sell you everything he has and charge your insurance for everything you need and dont.

Went to Dr. Spitz a few weeks ago to have my toenail removed after having a blunt trauma. As soon as I met him, he was pushing for which source of advertising brought me in - he didnt believe I found him simply by searching podiatrist and my zipcode. It was an overall scary experience for me; I didnt feel that he was calming, as a matter of fact he kept reminding me how much each procedure would cost, rather than explaining its benefit. I left with toenail removed, and a $35 kit with hydrogen peroxide and bandaids. During my initial visit, Dr. Spitz kept referring to a prosthetic toenail, Kerryflex, which could be applied a few weeks later in only 30 minutes, complete with nail polish. I scheduled my appointment, especially with summer around the corner - I needed something more eye appealing than dead skin where my toenail was. Today I arrived for my follow up visit, on time, and ready to leave with a shiny new toenail within the half hour promised.. During its process (which was painful), Dr. Spitz again kept discussing the cost of the procedure, and then told me hed "cut me a deal" since only 1 toenail was being done. Id rather my doctor tell me what hes doing and provide comfort to his patient. His assistant is the only reason I gave this review 2 stars - she was caring and nice, but its not her establishment. Nail polish? Need to order at least 3 bottles through him at another upcharge, and wait about a week. No thanks. Low and behold, as I was rushing out of my late appt, the bill came in much higher. I paid it, because I needed to leave and the $45 upcharge was not worth arguing over, but I wont be back.

I just cannot say enough good things about Dr. Spitz! I know him and use the services he provides for many years. He is able to explain to me what to do in order to relieve my symptoms and most importantly - to stop them from occurring. He is very professional, thorough and soft spoken. He is a great Dr. who really cares about his patients. He takes his time at EVERY appointment and cares a lot to answer all my questions. Had a very unpleasant experience. More inclined towards selling products instead of caring and guiding.Scared the hell out of my friend in the first five minutes.recommended surgery as the first solution,without even diagnosing and considering other treatment options for foot corn.

My mom went to see Dr. Spitz few months ago because of an ingrown toenail. She went for a consult and had the procedure done that same day in matter of minutes. Very nice and caring doctor who made sure she didnt feel a thing and walked out happy. Thank you!
