My first experience at My Eye Xpert was beyond exceptional! All the staff was very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and professional! I was a little nervous because I have not had my eyes checked in years, but the staff and Dr. Brent Gandolfi made it very comfortable. Dr. Gandolfi spent a lot of time with me explaining everything I needed to know and made sure I understood everything prior to leaving his office. What I appreciate the most is that Dr. Gandolfi was very patient and understanding with me after I informed him that I was hearing impaired. Also, I love how this place has a wide selection of name brand frames. The frames are a little pricey, but I’m glad that my insurance was able to cover everything. I appreciate the staff taking the time to give me feedback on glasses that does/does not look good on me - knowing how indecisive I can be sometimes. I want to thank everyone at My Eye Xpert for extraordinary customer service from beginning to end! I would definitely recommend this office to family, friends, and colleagues.

I am a new patient here and i love love this place. The office is so clean and beautiful. They use newer technology and their staff is amazing. I went in with an idea of what kind of frames i wanted and by the time i finished with my exam i had a few picked out for me. Most importantly my son (5) wasnt feeling very good about himself after wearing glasses from a previous eye doctor and the ladies listened to him and instantly started picking out glasses for him as well. They showed him a few, made him feel comfortable and he chose his favorite frames. He was so excited to go get his glasses. Unfortunately the day i went in to get mine...his werent ready yet and he was so upset. The ladies there gave him a "cool" pair of glasses and called to have his glasses in a day earlier. The staff work together so well and they make you feel like family. You guys rock and i will continue to come to you. Oh and i LOVE my new frames ❤️

I was delighted the minute I walked in the door. I was greeted and taken care of immediately with no waiting. The office is clean and orderly. While having the vision exam, everything was explained to me so that I understood why I was having a particular test and exactly what would take place during the test. Barbara Robertson is amazing. She made me feel comfortable and informed at all times. She gave honest input when selecting frames and I am very pleased with the results. She gave me her business card and said that I can call at any time with questions or problems, if any. Dr. Swafford talked to me about test results and answered every question I asked. He is very nice and friendly. He did not rush me out of his office so that he could see the next patient. He made me feel important and a priority while in his care. I recommend My Eye Xpert to anyone at any age. You will be well taken care of.

My family (of five) have been going to My Eye Xpert in Gurnee for almost 5 years now. I found them shortly after moving to Illinois from Florida because they were the only local eye doctor that sold the particular type of contacts I was wearing. I have NEVER been disappointed. All five of us wear glasses and I wore contacts as well. The office staff ALWAYS goes above and beyond. They are knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Their office is impeccable. The selection of eye wear is top notch. Doctors Gandolfi and Swafford are the best of the best. They truly care about your eyes and want you to see as clearly as possible. I just recently had Lasik Eye Surgery. Dr. Swafford answered all my questions, referred me to an amazing facility and has overseen all my post-operative care. I cant imagine going anywhere else. You only have one set of eyes. My family trusts theirs with My Eye Xpert!

Best place for Eye Vision care. My family been with them for a long while, we never had any issues and we always enjoy going there. - Staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. They are always professional and they ensure all your questions are answered and they assist you the most they can to make your life easier. They even filled out my rebate for my contacts and all I had to do was send it through the mail. - Doctors they are super knowledgeable, friendly and talkative. They respect you and like to make conversation. Also if any question in regards to your eyes or such, they answer it in a very professional manner and explain to detail. They also make sure they break it down so that you can fully understand what they are saying. Best Eye Doc place. Glad you guys are still there, the building is beautiful and those massage chairs that I barely recently found out about are great.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM, IT IS AN EYE GLASSES STORE WITH A FEW DOCTORS WHO ARE WILLING TO MISS DIAGNOSE A PATIENT SIMPLY TO SELL AN OVERPRICED PAIR OF GLASSES! I found out them on google search read the reviews mostly all good stuff made an appointment, i went for an eye exam simply to make sure my sense of sight is 100%. The exam started really well until they the young begun to make me believe that i needed glasses when in fact i do not. Well, i finally got to see the doctor Jeffrey he also attempted to make me be believe that i needed glasses when i clearly do not. It is a shame a very attractive place like my eye expert does not live up the to name. I was told my eye exam was covered 100% by my insurance until the realized i wasnt buy any glasses then they actually sir you us $54.00 i paid the bill and moved on.

The whole family has been going to this office since we moved to Gurnee 8 years ago and we see both Dr. Gandolfi and Swafford (I prefer Swafford because were both super into dogs and cars). They are fantastic. They started with fantastic staff who sometimes move on to bigger/better things and never fail to replace them with other fantastic staff members. Theyre patient with everyone from my currently 19 year old little brother all the way up to my 96 year old grandmother who suffered with severe eye problems including glaucoma. Sometimes theres a wait but its really no big deal because the waiting area has relaxing massage chairs and a ridiculously cool fish tank. Its so pleasant and I, personally, will not be switching eye doctors as long as were here. Good job, guys! I appreciate you!

I have been seeing Dr. Gandolfi and Swafford since their days at WalMart Vision center. This dynamic duo (along with their fabulous staff) never disappoints! I always feel welcome in the office and they always offer to make me feel comfortable. I am just surprised they dont serve coffee or water just based on how upscale they are. :) My faves of course are visiting the very girly washroom and the massage chair and Dr. Swaffords office literally smells like cotton candy. If that doesnt say warm and inviting I dont know what does! Will continue to go to My Eye Xpert, they have never steered me wrong! Update... just had my annual visit with the team here and they still are amazing. Carolina, Sales Manager, is wonderful! I just love her. She helped me pick out the perfect new frames!
