I have worked with Dr. Orth for several years to treat thyroid disease, and have been completely satisfied with the level of care I received. Unlike some doctors, he is knowledgeable about the correct values for TSH and T4 numbers and worked with me to adjust my hormone replacement dose until I felt well. He took special care to manage my thyroid levels during pregnancy, monitoring every six weeks during the first two trimesters, to reduce the risk of complications. I would recommend him to any thyroid patient.

I would highly recommend finding another endocrinologist. I was just diagnosed as having type 1 diabetes and (after making me wait an hour) he point blank said that I was "cursed". Then he promptly gave me nothing but bleak outcomes for the rest of my life and offered no hope what so ever. I would never return to this doctor, and I would suggest finding another if you are unfortunate enough to have been referred to him.

I have worked with Dr. Orth for several years and have found him understanding and helpful. He introduced me to an insulin pump and sensor system. Then for a few years just encouraged me to use the system until I was finally ready to embrace it. Now, hes helping and talking about new advancements with the sensor system.
