I have been a patient of Dr. Amy Suppinger for many years. She is a physician that relies heavy on book knowledge on medicines/treatments. In my opinion, she relies too much on generalization treatment versus individual patient treatment. Each patient is different and what work for one person may not work for another. The unwillingness to explore outside of her book methods and procedure zone are missed opportunity to recommend the best treatment for a patient. Dr. Amy Suppinger is very set in her ways and dont constructively listen to to her patient (me anyway) which delay the best solution/treatment for the patient. This last visit I had on 6/2017 was the worst visit I had with any physician. I have never left out of doctors appointment wishing I didnt go based on the lack of empathy, lack of care, and lack of concern for my pre-existing issues and new issue that was briefly discussed. The best advice she could have given me was to seek a new primary doctor.

Sharon Devine

Seems to be very set in her ways about how she thinks about healthcare and is not willing to explore outside of her comfort zone to treat what is concerning the patient. She relies on her generalized opinion about things, rather than deal with the specific needs and history of the individual. As someone who has worked in the healthcare field for a long time, I personally find this to be an unethical approach to healthcare as it drives up the cost of healthcare because your primary doctor is not willing to work with you to find a solution and tells you that you need to see someone else if you want specific things looked at or reviewed or done.

I really like having Dr. Suppinger as my primary physician. He is very thorough and explains things really well. He genuinely cares about his patients and I appreciate that a lot.
