Ive had many experiences with good and bad veterinaries, and Ive really hated my experience with East Side Vet. Its hard for me to understand how someone becomes a veterinary if the person shows no care nor affection towards my dog. My dog was really scared to be there, and he did not care at all to try to make her feel more comfortable, he ordered me to hold her and then he put on her vaccines. Then led us out of the room. Except for a young man who seemed to be in practice to become a veterinary and who was very polite, every one else demonstrated terrible customer service. The doctor more than anyone was extremely rude, not being capable to even greet a customer. Another very upsetting thing was that if you want to buy medicines online (which are usually cheaper), this guy wont approve the medicine if they sell the brand themselves there. So you have no choice but to buy more expensive medicines from them. I am extremely upset with this place, and will continue to look for a better vet. More than anything, it upsets me that I had left my previous vet on my hometown, who treated my dog like his own daughter, unlike this guy.

This vet misdiagnosed my pet and wanted to put him down. They had told me that my dog had a stroke and he wouldnt recover. I called another vet and just over the phone without even seeing the dog, I was told to wait 3 days because dogs usually recover from strokes much better than humans. He seemingly recovered fine. Now Ive moved and have taken the dog to a new vet. Based on the exam this vet gave my dog, Eastside Veterinary never looked at him closed enough to even make a good diagnosis. It turns out that Jackson didnt have a stroke, but instead has a spinal problem. The new vet even new the time period of which it happened by examining Jackson without me telling him! Id say skip this vet and try another!

This is one of the worst vets i have ever met. He operated on my dog for no reason telling me that my dog could have cancer. He did not do a biopsy at all and went straight to the fact that we needed to operate and he did a hack job on him. The stiches were horrible and the price was almost double what he told me it would be. I took him back 2 weeks later to get the stiches out and he took the neck stiches out and then said, "ok were done". I had to remind him that he had more stiches to take out and all he said was, "oh I forgot!". He only gave antibiotics after he took the stiches out because he did such a crap job that the stiches got infected! I would NOT recommend this vetinary AT ALL!!!!

Ive been going to Eastside Vet for 28 years. Ive had good experience Dr. Cooper. Dont look for him for warm and cozy bedside manner (Dr. Pettitt was the best at that). I do like it that he doesnt over-prescribe, he just does what you ask him for.

I have had 2 dogs and have always liked how they have been treated at Eastside vets.. the staff has been courteous and friendly to me and my dogs. Prices are very reasonable compared to another vet I took one my dogs too.

Just had to get vaccines. Dr. Cook was efficient and handled our cat well. He didnt try to develop any kind of relationship with us. Not sure why no one can introduce themselves? Office staff was pleasant.

This doctor is a whack Could not help our cat shot up with the death serum and threw him at us the doctor had NO compassion. We had cats for 40 years most of them lived 15 to 20 years
