Sprained my ankle very badly. With confusing parking lot/new location I had to painfully hobble up THREE flights of stairs. Called the receptionist since I was confused about the location of the office and running just a couple mins late because of my inability to walk OK. She said as long as youre here in the next couple mins you are fine. I was holding back tears from the pain in my ankle when I arrived to the desk, and according to the receptionist I could not be seen by Dr. Carlisle. I understand late policy but the woman at the front desk didnt call or ask him or ANYTHING- simply said he will not see you. Told me to go to medcheck (which is something I cannot afford as a 22 year old with low income job). Then, I saw the same receptionist promptly leaving the building before I could even limp to the stairs, obviously wanting to deny the last patient of the day because she wanted to go home. I was crying and didnt know what to do. I couldnt believe it. Then when I called to reschedule they scheduled me for 7:30AM a couple days later which they werent even open for?????!!! What? Super disappointed.

Went for a flu shot today and was told by front office staff that they will not give me the shots because i did not visit them for a year - the only way i could get a flu-shot is if i scheduled an appointment for a full checkup - when i dont even feel sick.Essentially they want to charge me/insurance for a full suite of services and provide a flushot. This is a scam! Moreover, when i mentioned that i could just walk into the nextdoor CVS/Walgreens/Target and get a flushot, the staff was very sarcastic and ridiculed me and my son. You can *never* get an appoint when u r sick - they always are booked 3-6 weeks in advance. I wish i could get sick by appointment. I like Dr. Pafford, but his practice/office-staff is making it very difficult for me to continue here

Went to get a regular check-up for work health program. Really the only thing I had to get done was a cotinine test to prove im a non-smoker. They couldnt test because their computer systems were down. Unexpected but reasonable. They ordered the test from another clinic. I completed test and was negative. The doctor reported me positive. I had to track down the test and have them resubmit the form. Quite a lot of work for one test.

Called for an appointment as,a,new patient, first question was what insurance I had, after advising I am new and hmo, I was told to go to medcheck, no appointments for a week for new hmo patients. Never asked me what the problem was or why I needed to see a dr today. This is NOT going to be a dr I care to have treat me.

I have been attending this office for many years. My kids and husband also attend. I love being able to get in same day with a nurse practitioner or doctor. Dr. Melloh and her nurse Lindsey do amazing! Highly recommend!!!
