They are impossible to get in touch with. The phones are hardly ever answered and it takes them forever to get information to other vets. I discovered this when I had to have an out of state vet try to contact them and get the records of our dog. On the positive side;they are very reasonablely priced. They dont try to take advantage of the caring hearts pet owners. I also find their honesty, kindness, and caring refreshing. You can tell the vets really care about the well being of your pet. The one thin I would highly recommend is, to make some upadates to their office system, perhaps hire someone to handle phone calls and get some vet assistants with better personalities. They have one woman there who has the personality of Scrooge on a bad day. The front office ladies are always nice even on the busy and hectic days they have. One last thing, If youve never been there; prepare yourself for quite a long wait. When they are busy you can wait for hours. Quite often you have to wait outside. The outdated, old looking reception waiting are is quite small.I go back and forth for vet care. For myself, my pets and my spouse its not always worth the long waits to save a little money.

I had never been here before but had heard from many people that I should take my dog here over the years. Unfortunately, I had to put my dog down today. We bought her as a puppy and have had her for 14 years. When I called my normal vet they wanted $150 to do this if I take the remains with me and Id need to get an emergency appointment if they were going to see her today. I was a bit concerned when I seen they didnt take appointments and it was a first-come first-serve so I showed up 45 minutes before they opened and there was already 5 cars in the lot. Unfortunately I didnt realize there was a list by the door so by the time they opened I was actually the 11th person so I expected a long wait which I knew would be agonizing for me as I couldnt even look at my dog. They ended up seeing me 4th and I was out of there in 15 minutes. They also only changed $50 to euthanize and bury my dog which was a major relief to me. I found them to be very professional and if I ever were to get another pet I would drive out of my way to go here.

There should be absolutely no complains about this place, the care from the vets are excellent, the staff is polite, they come outside to call your name. What DR do you know that will do that while you catch your breath, water, walk your dog or smoke..huh? If you complain about the long wait its because most agree with me and will travel a hundred miles to take advantage of the price structure. It is first come first serve so get there early if you dont want to socialize with other dog owners or dogs. I was asked to not return to an Evansville Vet Office because my dog was suffering from eclampsia, dying and needed help fast...in the waiting room I talked about Ft Branch Vet Hospital, yeap! They did not like that. Any way, from someone reading this to find a fair, honest, educated staff and veterinary family they need to look no further, you are in good hands.

Ive been taking my babies there for over a decade now and while the wait to see them is sometimes long (they dont take appts except for surgery) and you will try for a while sometimes to get through on the phone it is worth wait. Now that theyve provided care to some of mine for their entire lives I can say from beginning to end and even crematory care was wonderful. Very affordable and in the case of both I lost to cancer we covered options and chose what was best for each pet. And they are happy to return calls on questions about diagnosis, prognosis and after care and to my local vets when I cant get to town. Even though Ive lived in Cincinnati OH area for the last few years it is still worth it to bring the crew in when I come.

I literally have tried getting ahold of them to make a apt for a week and cant get anyone to answer my calls. The one time someone did answer she put me on hold and never clicked back over, after waiting 15 something mins I hung up. What good are you to your community and as a business if you never answer your telephone. I believe people come here based solely on their cheap prices , makes me wonder what kind of Quality care peoples animals are receiving. If they cant even improve their answering service ( too tight with money to do so ) I highly doubt they take any better care of your animals. I would rather take my business else where and them actually act as a business.

We have taken our dogs there for about six years. I agree that there is a wait but the care they get and the honesty from their vets and staff are worth the wait. Honestly, I had a longer wait at a vet I had an appointment with for my dog. One of my Chis has a heart issue that they diagnosed they told be my options and referred me to a vet out of our area. The staff always remembers my animals names and makes them feel special. I am not sure how they do it with so many patients. It is a bit of a drive for me but I always enjoy the ride and the wait with my dogs. I also love the fact that I can get my pets medicine mailed to me at a minimal extra cost!!!!

Never can get in touch. Dont bother even trying to call. Just go there if you want to be seen. Too bad i need to set up an actual appointment. Its too far of a drive just to do that. They need to hire someone that just takes care of the phone calls. Its outrageous and good luck if you are trying to call and check up on your animals care after surgery...They will never answer. Not sure if saving a little money is even worth that! Come on now. It shouldnt be this hard. What happens when other vets need to call you and get records?!?!?!

I have been reading the reviews and must say I strongly disagree with the comments regarding the telephone. I have taken my pets there for many years and they have keep them healthy and happy. Just a few minutes ago I needed to call them. Yes, I was put on hold, but within just a couple minutes they were back ad answered my questions with a smile in the voice. I find it worth the wait and appreciate the great job that they do at a cost that is affordable for me.

Fort Branch Veterinary Hospital has cared for both of my dogs, Jack and Sassy. They have taken great care of them both and i would not take them anywhere else. And the price, the price is unbeatable for care greater than other Vet hospitals, you definitely get more than you pay for. Thanks to Fort Branch Veterinary Hospital for being affordable and for taking such great care of Jack and Sassy!!!
