If I could I wouldnt give any stars.... the general staff over all was awesome! As for the actual dentist, I dont care for her one bit. She is utterly RUDE! I went in to have six fillings done she started them by the time she got to the front of my mouth, I tried to tell her I could feel her grinding on my tooth. She told me just to sit still I couldnt feel it, I just thought I could. The next day I woke up with an infection in my mouth! Didnt go back for them to handle it because I dont like her. I went to the doctor, they prescribed me a antibiotic and TWO mouth washes. One for pain and one to help clean the infected area. I could barely eat and couldnt close my mouth for two weeks!!!! Then a tooth the filled I was still having problems with, so I go back in for them to look at. She tells me nothings wrong its normal. I just say okay and nod my head so I could leave. Then she starts getting rude saying in the rudest way possible; you dont believe me why how can I fix this experience. I just told her I was going to get a second opinion and told her I wouldnt be returning, that it was okay. She asked me what was so negative about my experience. So I told her she had the worst bedside manner, one I didnt care for at all, they gave me an infection, and were not gentle at all! I do not recommend them at all!!! I wish i would have done more digging before I went to them, everyone I know has had a similar experience there and all the negative feedback online...

I would not suggest Dr. Hendrix to anyone. She is terribly RUDE and very pushy to get dental work done. I went to schedule a cleaning and they said my insurance would only cover a certain amount of work and insisted I get my wisdom teeth removed and my cavities filled first and get my cleaning the following year. (More money for them.) I called my insurance and was told I was covered for a cleaning at any time regardless of dental work. While getting my impacted wisdom tooth removed she literally yelled at me for moving too much, she did not even pause to ask if I was okay, only to yell at me to stop moving and be still. I was then foolish enough to take my six year old son back for some surface fillings they insisted needed done. They took him back without asking if I wanted to accompany him. I heard him crying down the hallway and insisted I go see him. When I entered the room, Dr. Hendrix was yelling at him to be still and stop acting that way. In no way did she try to console him or calm him down. Afterwards, I talked to several friends and unfortunately they also had negative experiences of being overcharged and treated poorly from Gentle Dentist. Please beware and go at your own risk!!! I assure you that there are other dentists who will accept your dental insurance if that is the only reason you are going back to that awful place.

I lost a cap and went here because of the reviews...Boy was I wrong. The office staff was professional, maybe too much so. The Dr was pleasant until you disagreed with her. I had x-rays taken and was told what I needed done. I guess it was my error because I must have misunderstood my treatment plan. I received "laughing gas" because I was really scared of dentists, I kept telling them that it wasnt working and they assured me it was. (it wasnt, I have since gone to another dentist and his worked" another time I was given "sedation" using pills, they said it would take an hour or so to work. I said it wasnt working they kept on working...It did finally work 3 hours later while I was being driven home. They capped over the tooth and I told them several times that it still hurt. The next day I received my x-rays in the mail and was basically told that I wasnt welcome there any more. I did go to a different dentist with complaints about that tooth and was told it was abscessed. I had a root canal done and (excuse the description) there was a lot of pus. The tooth had to be capped again, which my insurance will not pay for since it was just done. I know a lot of people have had good experiences there but mine, not so much !!!

I have been with the same dentist for the past 10 years, doing regular 6-month check-ups/clean-ups. No cavities were found for at least 3 years now. I moved to the area for work, so evidently had to change dentist. Gentle Dentist did their normal x-ray scans, and started directly doing the check-up without the normal cleaning phase. They quickly showed me 10 very small black spots on my teeth and told me that I needed to fix them up. This would have totaled a bill of $1600, that could be covered by my insurance over 2 years. This all seemed weird because my previous dentist always told me that I had good teeth without cavities. I then went to another dentist for a second opinion. After a proper cleaning they basically told me the same thing that my main dentist told me. That the small black sports were simply normal stains on the old fillings and that they were of no concern. Basically, Gentle Dentist wanted to work on my teeth for nothing, and get my insurance to pay them for unnecessary drilling and filling. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

I wont ever come back here. I was a few minutes late for my appointment because of construction, but I called 20 minutes prior to let them know. When no one answered I left a voicemail with my callback number. When I arrived they told me they had cancelled my appointment, and so I asked to reschedule. The lady was very rude and then proceeded to tell me that they werent accepting my insurance anymore... But had I been on time they would have seen me. They were very rude and I wasted my time and gas driving all the way up there. I wouldve understood if I was 15-20 minutes late.. But I was just a few minutes late... Also the office smelled really awful and not clean like my previous dentist.

My son is 3 and was so incredibly anxious about going to his first dentist appointment. I had never been here before and wasnt sure what to expect but I am so glad we found this place!! EVERYONE in this office was incredible. They helped ease his fears and were so kind and compassionate with my son and really made him feel so comfortable and special. His hygienist was amazing and so good with him and the dentist was so great also. He got to pick a toy and told everyone he wanted to come back tomorrow! We found our new forever dentist!!

Went here to have my wisdom teeth extracted. They gave me some pills that I guess was supposed to put me under in some way and gave me a shot in the gums. Neither or these made me numb in any way. The entire thing was extremely painful and I vomited through the procedure. Then they told me that it wasnt pain I was feeling, just pressure. Im pretty sure I know the difference between the two. After all this was done, the pills they gave me for the pain left me extremely ill for two days. Most likely will not be returning here.
