This was the first dental office I had ever went to went from two all the way till I was sixteen and got pregnant but would have never went back if I could have found a different office. The staff at the front desk are rude, snobby and always mess up your appointment times. There was one time I had to be about ten, eleven maybe and I had been playing in a sand box before I went to the dentist. They claimed I had head lice and placed a cap on my head. My sister and brothers as well. I was humiliated and cried when I got home for hours. For a kid thats the worst feeling ever. Even after that visit and multiple months of not going. I again had a plastic cap placed over my head and told I had head lice... Then when I was sixteen I told them before the appointment that I was sixteen weeks along and they said no problem come on in we will still see you... So when I get their Im told sorry we cant see you until your doctor signs this form.. The staff is always talking about people and making fun of them for the way they dress and act. How childish. I havent been back their since I was sixteen turning twenty one soon so its been a while. But Id like to inform anyone whose looking at this dental office for them or their children. Dont waist your time. They are slow and rude.

I have taken my son here for a little over a year now. All my visits in the past have been nice and smooth, although sometimes they can be extremely slow. Each visit I always go back with my son just because I want to make sure hes on his best behavior and I want to be present to see whats going on. I also like to see the techniques they use to get him to open his mouth so his teeth are properly brushed. On this particular visit I was rudely told that I could sit at the window and watch. I explained that I would like to come back with him. I was given an attitude and overheard the staff say why does she need to come back here she can just sit up front. Then she tells me I can go sit down when hes getting his x-rays, which I did not. Im not sure why I received an attitude because I like to observe the visit while my child gets his teeth cleaned. But we definitely will not be back. I could see if he was receiving a surgical operation, but we are speaking about a cleaning. Steer clear if youre not comfortable with watching from the window.

I had an appointment schedule in late 2015. I arrived early to fill out paperwork only to be told I couldn`t be seen due to being pregnant, and that I would need an authorization from my doctor. Sucks since no one told me up front that I needed this documentation, and I told them when I scheduled how far along I was. Fast forward to 2016, had an appointment scheduled which needed to be rescheduled due to work. They rescheduled me for 3-24 at 9am. Of course, I show up early in case I need to fill out the paperwork again, only to be told that they cancelled my appointment! Mind you, I just received an 2 emails, in fact, on Monday or so to confirm. Yet, I was told the office called on 3-21 to cancel. NOONE has called, emailed, left a voicemail or anything, otherwise I WOULD NOT HAVE SHOWN UP. With being pregnant and the kind of work that I do, my schedule is very limited. I won`t be returning to any locations nor will my children. I would`ve at least expected some professionalism and courtesy on their end.

So Kool Smiles is...just ok. The staff seem a little overwhelmed by all the patients, appts, procedures, etc. I feel like they try to force parents into allowing their children to get procedures that they may not need. I was told by a hygienst that my four year old had three cavities in between his molars and that he needed to have caps right now. She stated that if I did not get them he could get an abcess, etc. etc. I asked her to show me the cavities and x-rays. She disregarded my request and continued to press me to allow for the procedure to be done. I told them "NO!" I will get a second opinion. When we got home, I completed my sons normal oral hygiene routine. He has perfect teeth as far as I can tell. I will be following up with dentist. Will update when I get results. If my son indeed has cavities, I will probaly treat naturally. If he does not, then as I felt, something is amiss with Kool Smiles.

My last experience at Kool Smiles was terrible. The dental assistants were in the back yelling at children, saying to them "Shut your mouth!", "Sit down in that chair right now! " , "Youre getting on my nerves!" Dentists are supposed to make the children feel comfortable they failed, MISERABLY! Also at my last dentist appointment the dental assistant was sooo involved in a conversation with another dental assistant she scraped my mouth up very badly and made my mouth bleed very badly, even when I told her to stop , she completely ignored me and kept scraping. I would definitely NEVER recommend this location to anyone. If you do choose to bring your children here , please be aware of the mistreatment and watch your child through the windows. Even though it received proper treatment on my appointment today , I still wouldnt recommend it because those horrible women still work here!

Honestly, I am shocked by the other reviews. Ive taken my little one there 2x and both times it has been a great experience. She is 3 yrs old and shes felt comfortable both times. The staff, dentist, hygienist and all have been great in my opinion. Both times they have been gentle and friendly. There has been wait there but its like any other dental office, nothing out of the normal. What makes it better is the fact that they have a play area for the kids. It really puts my little girl in a comfort zone. The reminders for the appointments are awesome as well. Not to mention, her teeth are in great shape and she loves to floss because of the goodie bags they give the kids on the way out. I dont know about the others but I am a satisfied parent. Ive never encountered any unprofessionalism and Ive always been with my child every step of the way.

ShriDonneand Dr. Noel are nice! Its a good place for Kids, but for adults its ify definitely slow with adults. I waited an hour before I was seen, then was told my insurance only covers one cleaning a year, so after not getting a cleaning all I got was an xrays after almost 2 hours.(waste of time, could have told me on the phone) definitely need better communication and relay of messages when things change esp if a day changes to a "one doctor" day and only children will be seen. I scheduled my apt and arranged things at work to get there on time even arrived with my paperwork complete, only to be told I needed to reschedule COULD HAVE CALLED,text,vm,and email like they do when my apt is coming, not waste my time in person. Only go for my kids, even though the convenience of treating adults was a good idea, it does not work for this place.
