1) I bring all of my animals here - my two dogs and cat. My experience with them has been wonderful. One of my dogs needed surgery on a mass, everyone was very supportive and diligent in walking me through what to expect. They provided me with a detailed estimate of what I could expect to pay and were very upfront with what I was looking at regarding my dogs care. The care is top notch and I trust no one else with my animals, having had bad experiences elsewhere in town. 2) Customer service is very friendly and receptive. I always feel welcomed and valued as a client, whether the receptionists, vets, or techs. At other clinics I have felt like I was a burden or simply an income source, ignored for *hours* in a lobby while multiple vet students and other doctors keep asking for history and about my animals or generally not even knowing what I was doing there with my animal. I never feel that way at Paw Prints. They genuinely care about my animals and are personable - I matter and so do my animals. 3) Despite reviews, the kennels are run excellently. I have toured the facilities and worked at other kennels myself in the past. They thoroughly clean the kennels twice daily, take the dogs out for walks frequently, and accommodate my food/feeding schedule, toys I leave with the dogs, and provide ample bedding so everyone is comfortable. I can also elect for playtimes for my animals in addition to the walks. I have never seen any evidence to describe any negative experiences here and from what I can tell among others I know who board with them, they too find the services excellent. 4) The costs of services are comparable to Purdue and other clinics in town. For the service I receive, the dedication to me as a customer, and the treatment of my animals and concerns, I feel that every dime I spend at Paw Prints is well spent.

I have had my animals with Paw Prints for a few years (two cats and two dogs). My two dogs have heart problems. Dr. Bunton and staff have been amazing with my girls. Dr. Bunton keeps tabs on the girls and will call or email to see how they are doing. The staff are always so friendly with the girls from the front desk to examining room. Drs. Charney and Hainje have helped my cats (one Im sitting) get over some severe UTIs. They are so great, too! They both have called and checked on the cats to see how they are getting along after being treated. Of course both are happy, healthy and chasing each other all over the place. :) I recommend Paw Prints to everyone I know. The doctors and staff are fabulous and genuinely care about their patients and getting them better. They take the time to answer all my questions. They are upfront with you on what charges you would be looking at so there are no surprises. I trust my pets to all the doctors and techs at Paw Prints. I know when theyre there, my fur babies are in the best of hands and with people who care. I will never be able to thank them enough for all the tremendous quality of care they have given all four of my girls. Thank you Drs. Bunton, Charney and Hainje as well as all the techs, pharmacists and staff for all you have done and continue to do to keep my girls happy and healthy!!

I brought my dog in to get a first exam, shots, and medication for her hypothyroid disease. If your dog has been diagnosed with hypothyroid disease you are supposed to have the thyroid levels checked every 6 months to a year. The previous vet she was brought to checked her levels and prescribed her with medication 4 months prior. The vet would not prescribe her with that dose of medication without checking her levels again. This is a 100 dollar test. She didnt need to have her levels checked again. Tried to sell me many other things as well. This is the kicker. I went to a different vetrinarian 4 months later. This new vet immediately noticed that my dog had really bad gum disease and she had to remove 18 of my dogs teeth. Strange how paw prints didnt realize this when they "checked" her. I thank myself for bringing her to a different vet a few months later. If i didnt, maybe all of her teeth would be gone. I feel bad for my dog mostly. Sure, the procedure was very expensive. Yet, she can barely chew her food anymore. This could have been prevented.

I can only speak to the surgery and general care (as opposed to the boarding). I have been pretty happy with Paw Prints. They are definitely spendy, but I feel like it is worth it. From the desk workers to the vets, the staff has been very helpful and attentive. My dog was spayed there, and the incision became inflamed a couple days later. They were able to get me in to see the vet within a couple hours, and they cleaned the area and coached me on what I needed to do at no extra charge (antibiotics and cone-of-shame did cost, but I expected that). When my dog had to stay overnight after the surgery, the staff were happy to check on her for me during business hours. They are also very good about online pet meds- they dont give you a bogus charge for the prescription. You have to pay for the test (e.g. heartworm), and they have no problem signing off on the prescription with your online provider.

Paw Prints is a great vet clinic! Moved from Illinois fall 2014. Ive never had a staff of people more accommodating and genuine. My dog the past year was getting under the weather. Come to find out, she has Cushings Disease. Im thankful for the attention to detail they give my animals. They provide service and recommendations for the health of my pet(s) that are exactly what they need. I have also boarded my 2 dogs there several times long and short visits. My pets were always taken care of and understanding of when Id call to check on them daily...bless their hearts theyd always fill me in and let me know my pups were good. Wonderful staff and Dr. Beckner is the best!

I absolutely LOVE this facility. They have been so helpful for adopting a new puppy. All of the staff members are kind, friendly, and genuinely want to know my dog. The veterinarians are so helpful in assisting me with the many questions that come about from having a new puppy. My dog is in their puppy fundamentals class and we plan on continuing in any other classes they offer as it has been beneficial in the development of my puppy. I love this place and everyone who works there and would highly recommend it to any dog owner. They genuinely care about the dogs and many times I forget that they are a business. Thanks Paw Prints for awesome service!!

Paw Prints Animal Hospital is has been sold and is run by another vet - took my dog in for a bath and nail cut - when she came home she could not walk or go potty they cut her nails so short - they did not stop with one nail they did all 4 paws and all nails - dont want to think how much pain she was in while this was being done - she must have cried out in pain but the person just kept cutting why did they ask for help - why does the vet have people working for them that cant even cut a nail right - if you love your animal as much as I do please beware if they cant cut a nail what else cant the do right
