In Ref to Dr. Brandon Miller; Sadly, on July 30th, tragedy hit our family when our oldest "fur baby" Abby, was struck by a hit & run driver near Manhattan. A caring passerby carried her up to the house & we immediately called west central. Being a Sunday, all we could do was make the call, leave a message, and wait for a return call. That "call back" came within FIVE minutes of our message! Dr. Brandon Miller had us bring her in and said hed " be waiting for us". Sure enough, there he was, preparing for our arrival. He & an assistant, who just happened to be there doing yardwork, (sorry I didnt catch her name, but she was an angel) jumped right in and got to work, explaining everything they were doing & why. They even worked around me, allowing me to stay with my little one, giving her love & comfort through it all. It was certainly a valliant attempt to save her life, but in the end, she passed away quietly several hours later. The SINCERE compassionate care he gave our girl, and us, was so VERY much appreciated. He KNEW it was like losing a child for us. Thank you Dr. Miller, from the bottom of our hearts, for making a terribly sad occassion, a bit easier on all of us, but mostly, for actually CARING about our little girl Abby. You have our thanks, our respect, and our heartfelt gratitude.

West Central Vet is amazing! I had been taking my dog, a male Shih-Tzu/Maltese mix (13 yrs.), to Dr. Jenny for the past two years. Weve recently relocated, but we will surely miss the great care and attention AJ received at WCVS. They always squeezed us in for last minute appointments, did thorough exams, tests, etc. AJ was very ill a few times and I couldnt have imagined taking him anywhere else. Highly recommend if youre new to the Putnam county area, or just searching for a new, caring, compassionate vet and clinic.

Truly have been miracle workers for us and several beloved furry members to our family, as well giving strong support through harder times showing great care to guide us through finding our best answers to the hardest questions. Responding always with such understanding and respect to the difficulty we faced, helping by making sure we were informed of all possibilities and aspects of cost and prognosis given honestly and with utmost respect. We never want to go anywhere else!
