I had my horses coggins done by this clinic. While the clinic was very efficient getting the coggins done and back to me within a reasonable time, I did not appreciate the way the vet spoke to me. I was getting a coggins done due to the fact that I was selling my horse. I asked a simple, harmless question about something on my horse and he said to me "You dont know what those are? Well then you should be getting rid of your horse". When I was explaining my situation of why I had to sell him (school full-time and work full-time), he said "If youre working full-time them you should be able to afford to keep him". I was appalled. I did not pay a 60$ farm call for a vet to come out and treat me like an idiot. I had heard great things about Dr. Hubbard which is why I was okay with the steep price, and everyone I told seemed to be extremely surprised. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I did not deserve to be treated like this. Other than the terrible manners the vet showed me, I had a pretty good experience every time I called. The receptionists were very kind and very helpful and I had my coggins and health certificate back within 4 days. I also appreciated how quickly I was able to schedule an appointment, and Dr. Hubbard was punctual with this arrival.

I have taken my pets to Dr. Hubbard for years and he is the most caring and truly concerned vets I have ever met. He has gone above and beyond for my pets over the years the 2 that stand out the most for me was at 10 pm on Thanksgiving night 2000 I called the emergency number because my cat was dying and I didnt know why, his vet on call met me at the clinic and my cat survived but would not have made it through the night, I also was NOT charged any extra for the late night emergency visit. Then in 2004 I showed up running in with my dog who had been poisoned with anti-freeze Doc immediately took him and sent his assistant to the liquor store for vodka to administer it in an IV on my dog which I learned if done in time can save them, but we were to late to save him. Doc always explains everything to me and when times have been rough for me financially he has helped me that way too. I love him and his staff, they are an awesome crew. Not sure what happened with Mr. Penske I was very surprised at his review and I have no doubt that if he just sat down and talked to Doc, he would make it right.

Where do I begin? Best service, best staff and best prices around. I drive over an hour just to get to this place. I wont go any where else. Dr Hubbard is the most compassionate and knowledgeable vet Ive ever met. He has saved so many of my pets and exotic pets. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to keep our critters healthy. A prime example is my rooster was at deaths door and I took him to a bird specialist. They told me to put him to sleep. Dr Hubbard didnt give up and that was about 2 years ago and my rooster is the healthiest hes ever been. Im a very needy animal parent and his staff is always so kind and patient with me. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to this place. You wont get better than Bright Vet Clinic. Period.

Everyone kind and professional .I Work for a 24 hour vet clinic, 20 yrs ago now , critical care nurse. Also worked for CREW research at the zoo. So in my experience they our excellent. The only thing I don,t like is the vet Hosp Care center they recommend for emergencys . Yes they our top of the line critical care. But most people can,t afford that , it is thousand dollars walking in the door . Dr Day also cares for hourses and is excellent with my dogs and cats . Dr Hubbard who also puts up with me bringing chickens and turkies is also a large animal vet also excellent with my dogs and cats . I seen horse trailers pulled up . I been around enough to know they undercharge for what you get in care .

Even though we have used them as our vet office, they would not answer my question about giving my 13 year old dog a baby aspirin because of mild pain, without making an appointment. They are all about making money. I even told her he is acting completely normal just a little sore getting up and down. I know baby aspirin is ok, I just wanted to make sure and know an amount. Unfortunately at the moment I dont have the extra money for a visit that is not necessary. If a nurse can tell me how much tylenol i can give my CHILD over the phone...a vet should be able to tell me what I can give my ANIMAL! They will never have our business or our recommendations again!

An affordable option for vet care. Even though we now live in Cincinnati we take the drive out to Bright because of their kind caring staff and beyond affordable pricing. They have always treated all of our family with complete dignity and respect regardless of what we present them with. Even in our saddest hours as we had animals put to rest because of old age they have us individualized attention and time that you dont see from other clinics. We will be lifelong customers of theirs.

I would rate my experiences with this place a 5 out of 10. The clinic staff sometimes act like they are put out by simple requests and communication between owner and vet is poor. I have taken cats there and find out only after the fact that the vet ran a whole battery of tests and on another occasion their scheduling errors caused one animal to stay overnight...and I had to pay for it. I have since chosen to take my pets into Cincinnati rather than take them here.

Our Dog has a heart problem and needs his medication. They would not renew his prescription unless we came in for a visit and paid them more money. We chose to get our dog meds through Krogers and they wanted to charge us $5 to write a prescription. How heartless are they to animals.

Weve been taking our many pets here for 25 years now and so has my family. We drive in from Cincinnati and it has been well worth the drive to get the very best of care at a most reasonable cost. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Ive been taking my 4 cats and 1 dog here for years. Great place, they really care about animals as you can here if you talk to them about abandoned pets etc. Theyve always been very helpful with my pets problems.

OMG. Where has this been all the time? Drs. Hubbard and Day make you and your pet feel like you are their best friends. Best animal care, including boarding and grooming. Very hands on. I Highly recommend.
