I would have normally given the clinic 5 stars. Dr.Brown is a wonderful vet and looked after one of my dogs when she was terribly ill. I appreciated his professionalism and he took every call and gave advice and never lost patience with me about my concerns. But tonight I was up with my GS pup who has had diarrhea all night. Worried about the sick pup a family member of mine called the clinic. The doctor on call was very ignorant with her and was angry that she had called over a dog having diarrhea all night. Said doctor hung up on her. My family member called back and the vet was ignorant again. Then he said if the dog isnt better by morning to bring it in for testing. Apparently the doctor thinks he can talk to customers however he likes and theyll continue to support his business.A doctor on call is just that,on call. Work at a real hospital,people call about things as trivial as ear aches.Dr.Brown would do good to start his own clinic. Tonight,the doctor in question made the whole clinic look bad with his arrogance. Perhaps the loss of three patients means nothing to him.But I will let people know of this experience tonight and WILL NOT recommend this Clinic to the people I know. The doc needs to work on his bedside manner.Three very unhappy customers will be moving on to a clinic that actually cares about the pets.Its now 5:30 am and my dog is still ill and wont sleep.

Dr. Josh Brown is the only vet I trust to care for my pets. Whether its just administering annual vaccinations or something more serious, his care and concern is always evident. I actually feel like he cares for my pets as he would his own and thats extremely comforting. Hes knowledgable, professional and personable and provided he stays in KY, I would follow him to any practice. Highly recommend Dr. Brown at The Animal Clinic. Staff is polite and friendly. The ladies at the front desk always greet you with a warm smile. Ive used the grooming services and boarding, both of which are wonderful. My only complaint is the charge for the office visit. Ive never, ever seen this charged at any other practice, even in large metropolitan areas.

My cat had a "vascular event" and the team here helped me care for him during the early stages of recovery. They were very flexible with me dropping him off in the morning while they gave him a looking over and picking him up after work so I didnt miss any time. Thank you team!

Best vet ever!!! They are so caring & loving towards our animals. They are also cheaper than any vet we have ever been to. Their care is beyond measures. They are truly caring to animal owners too! We come from out of town just to go to this vet. We wouldnt go anywhere else.
