My family has been going to Eyecare Associates for years, for all of our vision care needs. My daughter has wore glasses since she was 18 months old and is now 24. Originally we just purchased her glasses here. When she was 12 we decided to try contacts. The entire experience was and has been successful. They became my doctor of choice for myself as well. The appointments have always been on time, all the staff very courteous, helpful and very pleasant to work with. No high pressure to purchase glasses and / or contacts. They have also offered Saturday morning hours for a couple of years now. That works out great in my busy schedule of juggling two jobs. Can you tell that I think this place should be your choice for all of your eye care needs? Thank you to the entire staff.

I really appreciated being able to get an appointment so quickly when I was having problems with my eyes. My exam was extremely thorough, addressing not only my vision needs, but the health of my eyes as well. Dr. Kahnk took time to explain my diagnosis by showing me pictures and describing a reasonable plan to manage the problem. I felt that he cared for me as his patient, not as just another appointment. The assistant was knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and knowledgeable about insurance and medicare. I definitely plan to continue my care here and will recommend Eyecare Associates of Ankeny to family and friends. I give a sincere "Thank you" to Dr. Kahnk and his staff.

I brought my teenager here when he wanted to try contacts...the doctor was very patient and willing to keep trying until he found something that worked for him. I have also brought my 5 year old here. The staff are very friendly and make it a very non-threatening experience. They are patient to answer all of my sons questions and the doctor takes the time to explain everything without rushing us out. We will be sticking with them for many years and have highly recommended them to anyone looking for an eye doctor!

I am so happy I found Eyecare Associates. They are very professional and care about Your needs. I recently received contacts for the 1st time. They were very patient with helping me put in the contacts and continued until I was comfortable on my own. I have not been able to see this good in years! I took my daughter would is 8 to another eye Dr about a year ago, because she complained of words being blurry. They told me she had perfect vision. I took her to Eycare and yes she needed glasses! Cant thank you enough!

Dr. Kahnk was awesome - funny and laid back - he explained everything he found during the eye exam and even helped me make light of the need for bifocals! The employee who helped me pick out new frames didnt try to pressure to buy more expensive frames when I told her Im frugal and wanted to look at only those with a lower price tag. She directed me to the display where all frames and lenses were included in one flat fee. Absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end! Id recommend them to anyone!

I would recommend this office to everyone I know. They are so knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. Above all they are totally honest, if you try on frames that really dont fit your face they will let you know. If you have questions regarding contacts, dry eyes, issues with computers, etc. Dr Jesse spends the time to explain the pros and cons of options for you. There is just such personal touch that you won’t get anywhere else. Give them a call for an appointment

I have never been disappointed in the service I have received at this office, they are like my family! In fact they didnt have a particular pair of sunglasses in stock for my summer trip and instead of trying to sell me a pair that wouldnt be as effective for my need they said to check at Cabbalas. Once again they were right on!!! Give them a call and you will be greatly satisfied.
