I attended physical therapy three times at the Laurel St location for rotator cuff injury. . Even after three visits they still had not gotten my prescription for physical therapy. I reinjured my shoulder and called to cancel my appointments until I saw my physician. Abbie, an employee at that location, spoke to me on the phone. She said I should keep my appointment even though my arm was hurting. I stated that I wanted my doctor to make that decision. The employee kept trying to convince me that I should still come. I felt like the employee was more interested getting paid by my insurance than about my health. Between the poor record keeping and the money over health attitude I would not recommend.

Wonderful experience! I went to the Physiotherapy Associates location in West Des Moines earlier in the year before I had surgery on my back and I felt very uncomfortable there. To me it felt like a boys club and I didnt like going there by myself. After my surgery I started at this location and I have LOVED it, the environment is 100% better. I would highly recommend to anyone interested. The drive is worth it if you live in WDM.
