I came to Neu to participate in physical therapy for the first time for what I believed was a knee injury from training for a half marathon. Over the next week I discovered that my injury was really ITBS rather than a knee injury and my exercises were never changed or adapted. When I told the therapist that I discovered that this was an IT band issue he condescendingly said that I should not be diagnosing myself from the internet. The therapist always started our sessions 10 minutes late and I was only with him for 20 minutes. Therapist never massaged my IT band, used ultra sound, or electrical stimulation to treat my injury. Therapist was generally rude and seemed very uninterested in our sessions or assisting me in getting well.

The therapists were more interested whatever game is on the TV or reminiscing about former famous players from KU. A lot of time hooked to machines while the therapists leave the room. Same for the pool. They show you exercises and then walk out of the room or hand you off to an intern. And their billing system is a mess. Be careful and look throughly through statement. Theses are mailed out on a very inconsistent basis, so keep your own notes from each visit. My account was overcharged $300 and it took months for an outcome in their favor. I after my 2nd bill. Another therapy place is about a block away and they are much more effective and hands on

The older lady that owns it is who was supposed to help me. Well out of the 45 mins I was there 35 of it my foot was wrapped in heat or hooked up to the thing that tingles or shockes you that helps the swelling go down or she did this monitor thing thats identical to how someone gets to find out what sex baby their having.For the other 10 mins she was helping my foot move in directions but only with 1 hand cuz she was talking with her other one the whole time. She did nothing so I stopped going. That place is not helpful at all

This is a great place to get any physical therapy you need. Everyone from the front desk to the therapist is kind and knowledgeable. I went here for an ankle injury and the therapist put up with me failing to do all my exercises at home; helping me and encouraging me on my way to recovery after 2 months of crutches followed by a month of being in a boot.

Im very happy with my experience at Neu Physical Therapy! Their business hours are wide open, and everyone on the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. The therapist assigned really knows her stuff, and doesnt seem to want to take no for an answer when it comes to achieving rehab goals. I couldnt be more pleased!
