Would not recommend this place. Im sure they have good vets or what not. But they are very rude. Our guinea pig was very very sick and we called to try to get her in right when they opened. And the lady was very rude saying they wouldnt get us in bc they were full. Which is fine. We ended up taking out pig to Glasgow. Thats not why Im upset. Im upset bc on our way back from Glasgow we go Into bowling green and our guinea pig started having a seizer and throwing up. A little while later she passed away when we were finally getting Into bg. I called Westgate to see if we could bring our guinea pig by to make sure she was gone and to get further information about cremation and stuff like that. When I called to find out the address and stuff the lady told me she would not give me any information and that they could not confirm if my pig was dead or not bc I would have to have an appointment. Which makes no since. All they have to do is confirm she passed and help us with what happens next. Instead she was rude and inconsiderate. I would recommend you to take your pets somewhere else. Like I said, Im sure Thier vets are good. But the other staff isnt. Very disappointed.

Dr. Denton has been great with my furbabies. But the past two visits we have seen Dr. Linzie. I honestly cant say that we are happy.. The first was when one of my dogs came in for her vaccinations. She had my husband hold her and proceeded to give them to her in the hall. No check up of any type as Dr. Denton always did. First time she ever had a knot come up on her neck at the injection site. Second time, very recently. Our dog had not eaten or drank for a couple of days. Took her in and Dr. Linzie saw. Felt her back said oh, its tender and gave her pain pills and stated if no better tomorrow bring her back for blood work. Needless to say, she was not better so took her to a different vet. Turned out her intestines were inflamed, dehydrated (required iv) and is currently on antibiotics. The new vet has a lot to learn before she is on the same level as Dr. Denton. Never had any problems with the ladies at the desk -- they have always been wonderful..

Absolutely the worst vet Ive even been to. Dr. Denton is a rude, sour old man who treats you like you are a hassle to him. He will give your pets medicine without asking or explaining, he will treat without your consent. If you ask a question or try to disagree or research something, he will act like a child and not speak to you. He left me waiting in the exam room to help other patients just to be a jerk because he wanted my dog to be kenneled there while on meds instead of at my home. I can give my dog pills, I dont need to pay weeks of kennel fees for him to be alone and scared in a dirty facility. Next, the female vet is just as rude. She wont even make eye contact. And she practically tossed my dog to me with a severe back injury because I wanted a second opinion on treatment. The place is cheap, yes. But its filthy, poorly run, and the vets are so rude. The front staff is nice, all I can say good about this place. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

I got recommended to them, I didnt even get to the front door when I realized the horrible service they have. I called in advance to get pricing and to make an appointment. From the beginning the lady I spoke to was very poorly mannered and had a horrible attitude. She kept putting me on hold for 9 minutes each time and just didnt bother to even come back on the line. I had to keep calling back about 4 times just to try to make an appointment. (Still kept putting me on hold for almost 10 minutes each time). Something that takes likely 1 minute to do. I wasted almost an hour of my life on these phone calls. Finally I gave up. If it was this hard to get decent customer service and to make a silly appointment, I dont want to find out how my pets (that I consider family) would be treated there. The phone call was enough for me to never call them back again!! I am very dissatisfied.

I prefer Dr. Denton by far. Dr. Linzie may well turn out to be a good vet but I dont believe she is there yet. Dr Denton has done several surgeries on my dogs that I could not afford at other vets who were triple the price. My dogs were always treated well and appeared happy. There was one instance where I feel the ball was dropped and a cancer diagnosis was missed. My girl wouldnt have made it no matter if she had been correctly diagnosed but I wish I had know instead of having hope that she just needed a prescription food. Overall, I recommend Dr. Denton highly. Just if something doesnt sit well be sure to question it and get a second opinion if you feel like something else is going on. I am a very big person on questioning and understanding the causation of an issue. Dont just tell me what is wrong tell me what caused it, how to treat it, and how to prevent it.

Horrible vets. You get what you pay for. They are cheap and that is the service you get. The sad thing is you may not be aware of the fact that your pet is getting poor care. They have no feelings. I am dealing with problems with one of my dogs that did not get proper care at westgate. I also lost one that got PROFOUNDLY poor care. He died alone and in pain while my husband sat in the lobby waiting to go back with him. Dr. Linzie is horrible and obviously not trained. I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS VET IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS. I give them one star because I cannot give them no stars. Think twice about these vets.

Dr. Denton is a straight forward and to the point kind of man. Thats what makes him in my opinion so great. He will give you all possible options. All possible outcomes. Doesnt jerk you around on cost. Tells you what he would do but doesnt pressure you into something that is going to pay him better in the end. He truly is a man who has your animals best interest in mind. Rosie is who you will see behind the desk 99% of the time. Very kind, understanding, and quite sociable. I wouldnt take my babies any place else!

"Dottie" was seen by Dr. Linze for new patient check up. Dottie seemed comfortable with her and all my questions were answered. I personally think Dr. Linzeis a good fit for Dottie. The second appointment Dottie had teeth cleaning and 2 teeth extracted. Smooth as could be, no surprises, bill was reasonable and everyone at the office communicated with me about what to expect. Great place. Thanks Westgate

I bought nexgard from them. It is suppose to have 6 pills but there was only 3 in the box when I opened it. I tried to call them to tell them and see if there was anything they can do since I wasnt given all of them. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. Terrible. Wont be going back. Doesnt feel good to get ripped off.
