First, this vet is one of the priciest in the area. Second, I took my puppy there for her first shots - after getting home I looked at my paperwork, the rabies shot they had given her was expired by over 2 weeks. If I hadnt caught this, she would have been unprotected for a year! I called Barry, they told me to come back in in a week and theyd give her another one, "for free". Gee, thanks. The second shot they gave her she had an allergic reaction to and now has no hair on her entire left hip, they said this is permanent. I also dropped her off on a different occasion to be washed, clipped, and toenails cut. I SPECIFICALLY said to NOT squeeze her anal glands, once you start doing this with small dogs it has to be done on a regular basis - I picked her up two hours later and on the bill was a $10 charge for her glands. I asked them about the charge and the lady said that they "accidently" went ahead and did the glands, and that I was therefore responsible for the charge. DO NOT use this vet, I am going to switch to the PetSmart Vet. Ive also heard really great things about Kindness Animal Clinic on 30A and also Airport Veterinary.

When I first moved here a year ago, I brought both my dogs to Barrys! I made an appointment for my male dog to get his teeth looked at and neutered. I dropped him off and about 6 hrs later they called me to tell me he was ready to be picked up and they pulled 7 teeth!!! What? No phone call? I couldnt understand how this could have happened, He is only 5 years old! I was in tears! While waiting for him in the waiting room, there was a lady also waiting to pick up her elder poodle(my dog is a coca poodle) how he had surgery, he came in to get 7 teeth pulled!! OMG...Did they get the dogs confused? I will never know, the Veterinarian wouldnt even come out, she had her assistant, who was acting nervous, tell me what medications to keep him on. A year later, still very angry!! I would definitely not recommend this Veterinary Hospital!!!

I AM SO THANKFUL THAT ONE RAINY DAY WITH SICK LITTLE MUKI CAT , I ASKED NEIGHBOR TO TAKE ME TO DR. BARRY, SINCE HE IS VERY CLOSE TO US....FOUND THE KINDEST, AND MOST CONCERNED STAFF, WHO HAD DR. BARRY TO ATTEND TO MUKI....HE WAS SO CALM AND CONCERNED AND EASED MY FEARS...MUKI WAS VERY SICK, BUT DR. BARRY TOOK HER THRU THE WORST WITH MEDS, AND KINDNESS... WE HAVE A NEW "DEMON CAT" MUKI/SCRAPP AND STILL OUR MINIATURE DOBERMAN LULU....EXCEPT, DR. BARRY CALLS HER A FOOTBALL WITH LEGS....THE LITTLE CHUNKER! OF COURSE EVERYONE EVEN KNOWS ME, NOT JUST THE ANIMALS. AN AMAZING VETENARIAN FACILITY....I DO RECOMMEND THEM ALL THE TIME.

Thank you Dr. Stacey and staff! We were in Destin just for the week and our mini bull terrier, Zodiac, hurt her left paw on the first day. The staff was completely accommodating as we had no appointment. Dr. Stacey Wiggins was so gentle with our baby girl. Within an hour were able to give Zodi pain meds & enjoy the rest of our trip. Took our beloved toy poodle, Rocket in after he was viciously attacked by a dog. Dr Swift and assistant, Katrina were amazing. When I left the clinic (Rocket was hospitalized), I felt relieved that Rocket was under such committed & great care! I will always remember and be so grateful for the care Katrina and Dr. Swift gave him!

Dr. Barry and his staff took great care of us in a time of need while we were on vacation. They were extremely friendly and professional and were able to get us in quickly same day for an urgent visit. The entire experience was better that we could have ever hoped for.

Very, very friendly staff! They allowed us to bring our dogs bed and some of his toys while he was being boarded. (He only weighs 5 lbs though.) The staff loves animals and their building is very clean. Would recommend this place to everybody.

Floored by the cost, it was more than twice the cost of other vets in the area. Made a huge mistake bringing my dog in and assuming I would not be taken advantage of. People who take their animal here have no conscious for spending money.
