I will never take my animals back to Anderson. We called needing to have our dog looked at for a skin rash. They told us it was not a full exam so it would not be the full price and that we had an appointment at 1. We got there at 1 and were seen. The doctor wanted to prescribe Cephlexin, a common antibiotic in pets and humans. I asked him if he would call it in to the pharmacy. (This would make the price $4 as apposed to $35). He said he didnt have time to sit on the phone with the pharmacy so no. So we told him we needed to come back with more money for the medicine. When we were leaving the girl told us it was going to be around $40. We asked her why. She has just quotes us at around $25. She said there was an added fee for walk-ins… but we made an appointment at 1. She said no she had just told us we could come in then. I told her she was screwing us over but we had no choice but to pay. When we got home I realized that our other dog had the same rash. I called the doctor and asked if we could bring her in and he could call the prescription in for at least one of them because it was getting expensive. He told me that he had bills to pay and he didnt operate that way. He also told me to not come back to his office and to find another vet. Now I know there are plenty of vets who will call in prescriptions (and I found one who does). I can not believe that someone trying to run a business would 1. let their employees lie and mislead their patients and 2. flat out tell their client not to come back. He could have politely said "I dont call in prescriptions, Im sorry." But telling me not to come back is ridiculous. You may be in the business of making money but I am in the business of saving it. Some vets are like mechanics. They dont like it when their customers know what they are talking about. And Anderson is one of them.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We found a litter of 7 kittens living in a bush at Wal-Mart. Being unemployed we had little to spend and had no idea how we were going to help these kittens. All the other vets wanted large upfront payments and a per animal office visit charge to get even a semblance of a discount. He saw them and after hearing our story charged no office visit fee, and the charge for meds i can only assume it was at cost since it was cheaper even than 1-800-pet-meds. All 7 got better, survived and were re-homed. The prices for vaccinations are about the same as the non-profit Beesley clinic in Murfreesboro. They do NOT try to scare you into needless tests and procedures (A la Banfield) and always shoot straight with no nonsense. I have to drive almost 20 min to get there, and it is completely worth it.

The nurses were very nice but the vet was aweful he was very rude to me when I was trying to explain what had been going on and what I was trying to do to help it. He basically was just like thats not good enough and it looks as if youve done nothing. I treat my dog like shes one of my kids shes my baby girl. keep in mind I live in the country fleas are bad so I told him a bathe her put medicine on her and he was like like that isnt going to work only the steroid shot antibiotics and this new pill. they gave my dog a shot before telling me the price and never told me the price of the antibiotics or the exam and it was 93$ which is fine but they could have let me know before hand so I could have looked at other vets. I will never go back there he was so rude I left in tears.

This is the only vet in town to work with me when a litter of kittens were dropped off near my home. One had a terrible eye infection and was suffering tremendously. Dr. Anderson was great and charged only a small fee to examine the animal and work with me on the treatment---other vets, even my own of more than 6 years, would not work with me on the cost of examining and treating the stray. I later had to take another stray in to be put to sleep due to illness and the whole office was compassionate and caring--GREAT people.

We love Mr. and Mrs. Anderson. They really take the time to explain what is going on, what the recommended treatment is, and they listen to your questions and concerns. The prices for treatment are more than reasonable. I have referred several friends to switch to this clinic--the only downfall is they are always so busy it is difficult to get an appointment. Great place--highly recommended from a true animal lover!

Did a lot of research on places and prices from south of Antioch. This place was best on paper. When I went down it appeared to be a converted home, but I have seen several like that. After taking my pets down there and getting several things taken care of with my pets, I am very happy with the service and prices. I have quite a few places closer to me, but this place is well worth the long drive.

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful Dr.Anderson and his staff are. He is the most wonderful vet I have ever done business with. He is detailed every step of the way and makes sure you understand. Its not easy when your fur babies are sick. But just know that you are in excellent care with these kind folks! Not to mention how affordable they are. Dr.Anderson knows his stuff!!!!

We had two "new patient" appointments that were cancelled without notice. The first time, the vet had to go into an emergency surgery - which I respected, even though a phone call would have been nice. The second time, the office was just closed - lights off, door locked. Ill find somewhere else that wants my business.

I have been going to Doctor Al for a few years now. I love them, they are about the animal and their health not the money. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and vet bills can get high but since I started going to Andersons I feel more confident in the care my animals are getting. I would and have highly recommended them

Dr Anderson is the best! Its so hard to find a good veterinarian these days who I trust with my dogs health. He has been doing this for years, he knows his stuff and his vet tech is awesome too. They care and they are proficient and also affordable and ethical. They dont try to price gauge. I just love this place!

They are awesome! They take the time to explain everything. Its not about making money they do whats needed for your pet and they do not run tests unless needed. I feel that our pets are the number one priority too them! Thank you to the whole staff for making a difference in our fur babies lives!

Love love Dr Anderson and staff. Very friendly, affordable and will not do unnecessary procedures unless there is no other choice. Loves the animals that come in and is very sincere when having a conversation regarding your pet. Highly recommend. Been here for years wont go anywhere else
