Me and my son both had appointments on 3/27/10 for eye exams. They took my son back and started his exam while I filled out forms. Thats when they mentioned to me about a bill from 2004 that had been unpaid by our insurance. I told them that I didnt remember ever being notified about the bill ever being owed.I asked why I had never been notified about the bill during our appointments since then, why didnt they mention it on the phone when I made the appointments. Thats when they told me they couldnt see me or my son today if I didnt pay, thats when I pointed out to them that my son was already in the middle of his exam, and that he had been complaining that he has been having problems seeing the board and reading at school. I asked if I could make payment arrangements to pay the $63.00 bill and they said no, pay it all now or go elsewhere. They literally made my son get up in the middle of his exam and leave. They are a horrible money driven office.

When my 8 month old was prescribed glasses. I ended up waiting 2 months for his glasses when it was only supposed to be a week. I dont think the lady ever sent the form in for the pre-authorization. It should have never taken that long ! Then when they finally did arrive they ended up being too big. The glasses slid down his nose constantly and wouldnt sit right on his face. I looked up the model number and it said the glasses are made for a 5-8 year old child. I took them back and explained they fitted him with ill fitting glasses. The lady looked at them on him and tried to act like everything was fine. I demanded a smaller size to which she did finally agree...... and waited 3 weeks that time for the new pair. Also, Vina is rude to customers and isnt very good with kids and gets aggravated easily

My husband and I both see Dr. Julie. She is sweet as she is kind. She answers all questions in easy to understand terms. I really like that Dr. Julie is not one of those "group" doctor offices. We are treated as people- not a #. The staff is friendly and fun. They answer all of our questions thoroughly. We have never had any issues with our eye glasses or billing matters. They have serviced us well and I hope for many years to come. But why- do they put the drops in your eyes- then ask you to pick out frames?

i was visited this eye care center and get the bi-focal glass. But stupidly , the lady got the wrong measurement of my bi-focal. That is absurd , i went there to get fixed , its a pain in the butt.

At Metzger Eye Care the doctors and staff are very helpful. They helped me start wearing contact which I absolutely love and I go to them every year for my eye exam.

I would strongly urge anybody looking to find another doctor. The staff here is incredibly rude and doesnt care, and the pricing is far beyond what it should be.
