I have been a patient here for 20+ years and have had numerous disappointments over the years. Why we stayed patients so long I dont know. I have NEVER been happy with this Practice, probably just stayed with them due to the head ache and insurance hassles involved in switching providers. You rarely ever get the same doctor twice, and if you find a doc your happy with, they leave or move on. Then, they assign you a different resident doctor, without even notifying you until you’re there for an appointment. Even then, you will rarely see the same resident doc twice. Its hard to get to know a doctor or even establish a healthy doc/patient relationship because of how they do things. It is ridiculous in my opinion. You also rarely ever get a same day appointment, phone hold times are extremely lengthy, and being seen for an appointment on time is just a laugh. Still, through all of this, they did sometimes manage to get things right if you were lucky enough to get a good resident doctor, or get to see them on a regular basis, which is extremely rare. When you go for a visit the resident doctor you get reviews your file for only a few minutes before seeing you. Then, you have to constantly remind them of your prior diagnosis because they do not see you regularly and therefore, are not the least bit familiar with you or your past medical history at all. I had cancer, yet had to remind them of that almost every visit because they never spent enough time reviewing my file before seeing me to be knowledgeable about my prior medical history. My sister and her family switched doctors’ offices because of these same issues. We are very dissatisfied with the St. E. Family Practice’s staff indifference as well as their policies and procedures! Their policy to get a same day appointment is that you must call by 8:00 a.m. However, if you’re like my son and work second shift and are trying to wait out a virus and avoid calling in sick again (just in case you start to feel better}, they will not even provide you verification that you tried to get an appointment later in the day, and were told none were available. In my experiences in dealing with them they were rude and indifferent. They would let you get fired from your job, and lose your family as patients, rather than let you pick up confirmation or email you something to verify the fact that you tried to get an appointment. Regardless of it being the truth, they will not verify in writing that you tried to schedule an appointment and were told you could NOT get one. They did offer to see my son the following day, however, we already knew the virus only lasts 24-48 hrs.(because everyone else in the family had already had it) My little ones had already seen a pediatrician and we were told that viruses just had to run their course. Therefore, there would be no point in making an appointment for the following day as it was just a 24-48 hr. bug and probably will be over by the next day. So, why take up an appt. that could be saved for someone in more urgent need, or waste our money paying for an office visit! Because of their indifference and the rudeness of their staff, we also will be finding a new family practice. Furthermore, it seems to me, their main motivation is the all mighty dollar and NOT the welfare of their patients. Again, this is just my opinion! I personally would NOT recommend them to anyone!

I have been going here for years with various minor dissapointments. Things like rarely ever getting the same doctor twice, getting to know a doctor to learn they have moved on, could rarely get a same day appointment in a pinch, phone hold times are lengthy, and being seen for an appointment on time was just a laugh. Still, through all of this, they did manage to get things right and I felt cared for. This spring I started losing my voice with no additional symptoms, and was having some what seemed to be un-related pain in my left arm. After making a number of appointments, and receiving treatment for allergies, bronchitus, and a pinched nerve in my arm, the arm pain got so bad I had to go to the ER. It was there a scan found that I had Stage 3 lung cancer that was also in my lymph nodes. By then more than a month of time had been lost by the Family Practice Center. With little I can do about it, I have moved on and am seeing an Oncologist now. However, during my treatment with the Oncologist, I started having an issue with my right eye. Its an old condition that the Family Practice had treated before twice with eye drops. Since the Oncologist said it was not related to the Cancer, I would need to go back to the primary care to get them. Made the appointment at the Family Practice center. On arrival I let the Dr. know I was having an eye issue. Watery, partial vision, and etc.. I also told him that this was something that happened from time to time, I had been treated for it twice prior with eye drops prescriptions I received here, and that they should be on my medical records. Instead, I was given a prescription of a different drop ($97.00) to use. Being respectful of his position, I had the drops filled and gaave them a shot. After using them for two days with no improvement (didnt get any worse either), I called to see if they could look up the previous ones and prescribe them. I never got a call back. Daily calls for two more days having to explain it over again where also not returned. On the fourth day of phone calls, and having to explain it again I was told if not contacted within an hour to call back. Again no returned call so I called back. Still didnt get ahold of the doctor then but was told by another that the medical records in the system were only 2011. Looking up the prescription woud have to be done at the pharmacy level to find. The man did make the effort to look into this, and a new prescription is now waiting for me at the local Walgreens. I am hoping it works. I am sorry that at some time in my life, I didnt seek out a "real practice" to be part of. Being a person who only went to the doctor when I was sick, was my fault. It was just convenient that I landed at one where it is a doctor school of sorts. The people here are good intentioned I believe, but as you can see from the other reviews the experience is little, and obviously the checks and QC are not enforced. At 51 years old and a smoker, I know who caused the cancer. That was me. But at 51 and a smoker, plus being a patient of this practice for 2 decades +/- without a chest xray, who was looking out for me? I suggest everybody run as far from this place as they can, and find another practice with doctors who have history behind them working there. At the worst you will be healthier, and at best it may just save your life!....

This used to be a decent Drs Office, days long gone. Zit takes at least fifteen minutes to get through to them on the phone and thats anytime. They switch Docs about as often as people change underwear. They messed up my medicines several times in the past 6 months. The Drs are young and dont listen to the patients. The last Doc Kolipaka Malathi MD (be warned Horrible man) I seen told me I needed to get more exercise and to go outside the problem with that is I had a stroke (which is something they have very limited knowledge of) which left me partially paralyzed on my right side. Yup Im gonna take up Jogging also his and the other Docs Have horrible bedside manner. This Dr actually called my other Dr a dinosaur and they work in the same practice and the Dr he referred to is a respected surgeon. Horrible Horrible Place take my advice and run dont walk away from this place as fast as you can.
