My name is Vic King & I always will release my name in these reports, simply because if its bad, you need to know me and why I say that. BUT IF ITS GOOD you can take my word and believe that I truly do believe what I am saying to be FACT, or else I would not leave my name! I chose this practice for a variety of reasons, one was the fact that my stage 4 Merkel Cell cancer is a rare cancer and I needed to KNOW the doctor who was going to help me know if I develop, or have added "sites" that show up and I needed to know, without guessing, that I could "rest assured" that I have been looked after, by someone who KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. PLUS: Dr. Leigh Ann Scalf, M.D. is a GREAT doctor; one who takes whatever she is doing very serious, but is not afraid to make me smile either. This group is totally automated and I AM IMPRESSED. It is VERY comforting to know that what I was responsible for developing, way back in 1989, is becoming a TRUE PART of the every day doctors office. THIS MAKES me KNOW 100% that all things done to and for me, along with every detail KNOWN, by those WHO HAVE A NEED TO KNOW; ALL WITHOUT TRYING TO READ A HANDWRITTEN NOTE, by a group of nurses, clinicians and especially Doctor Scalf; that remarkable young woman!!! I know of no other dermatology practice, who has GONE TO A COMPLETELY AUTOMATED -OFFICE & MEDICAL RECORDS, even though the tools to do that has been around for years, and I know first hand they have been, 26 years, none of her other peers, or very few have I know of anyway, have grown into the computer generation/automated and electronic records. . THAT TO ME IS Amazing - SOMEONE is actually doing what needed to be done to avoid costly and possible devastating medical mistakes. THERE ARE NOR CAN THERE BE ANY GUESSES HERE! These folks are the best of the best related to patient care, but even MORE IMPORTANT for ALL those who are concerned about issues related to any kind of misunderstandings and/or just "do not remember" simply because it is ALL, RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ANYONE WHO HAS A NEED TO KNOW: MEMORY IS THE COMPUTERS/TABLETS JOB TO REMEMBER FOR US! We have come of age, FINALLY and Dr.Leigh Ann Scalf, M.D. - YOU ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST: DOCTOR, ADMINISTRATOR, SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, PERSONNEL MANAGER and a lot more. The really great thing is that this DOCTOR does not have to guess about anything, as she can look it up instantly and it will be as fresh as it was the day and hour the patient came in to get treated and/for advise. WANT A GREAT DOCTOR - SEE DR. LEIGH ANN SCALF, M.D. - YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY YOU DID: Vic King, Happy patient From Lexington, KY

This place is awful. My husband went here seeking help for some serious psoriasis problems. They kept putting him on different creams every two months all of which he tried before and was in his existing chart. They finally gave him something oral which doubled his liver function. They can never get their appointments right. And we waited over 3 months to find out that they had not submitted the proper paperwork for the insurance to cover the new medication. Return phone calls never happened. You talk to someone different every time you call so no one seems to know about your chart. They called and cancelled an appointment one time for my husband. We got a letter a week later stating he was going to be charged $20 because he missed his appointment. After promptly switching to a new dermatologist he was immediately put on the medication he needed in all is correct. I wouldnt take my dog to this place.

I went to the office because of an allegoric reaction I was having with some of the detergents I was using on my clothes. It was decided to run an extremely expensive test consisting of sticking approximately 60 samples of materials to my back for several days in order to determine the type of reaction. Rather than scheduling the appointment for another day they rushed through sticking the samples to my back. To make a long story short, I went through all of my cleaning and bathing supplies at home, tossing items that would potentially cause a reaction only to find out later that there was poor traceability of the samples. I turns out that I was not allegoric to one of the material and was allegoric to a material that I was told not to have a reaction. In addition my wait time was 30+ minutes.

Today was my first visit at Advanced Dermatology PSC in Lexington, KY and my experience was phenomenal with Dr. Leslie Graves and her staff. I went with multiple concerns about my skin, such as a mole changing, eczema, and a spot on my back... Not only did she address all of my concerns but she even offered to help with my acne she noticed. Her and her staff went above and beyond to provide the highest quality of care. Plus, everyone was so friendly and personable. The service was extremely fast and my wait time was less than five minutes. I have seen other dermatologists, and I find this healthcare facility to be the most credible. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment here.

Impossible to see an actual dermatologist and NOT a PA, or physicians assistant, without a referral. Karen Begley, the office manager, and NOT a physician, can ultimately decide to not treat you. The fault of modern medicine is apparent in this office: inhumane management that decides things for a patient and the useless PAs that get their 2 year degree with very little medical training or experience. Better off going to your primary care doctor instead.

I am very disappointed that they called me today after a referral was made to their office to schedule an initial appt. I was told it was scheduling out until March and March 17 is my first day. Today is December 15th. I will report back when my appointment is done to give a valid review. Right now I stand neutral. The practice better be very good to offset the length of time to wait. I am glad I am not the one that has skin cancer

This place is terrific. You rarely have to wait. Under their care, my psoriasis has gone into complete remission. They will work with you and your insurance if needed to make sure you have the best care possible. If I sound like a commercial, it is only because of how grateful I am to their staff for getting me to the symptom-free condition I am now. Thanks guys!!!

This place is horrible. The people are extremely rude, you can never get hold of someone to change appointment dates and they never send out or call to let you know appointment reminders. I seen them several times due to a issue they could never be resolved. Dont waste your time and find somewhere else for your demitolgist needs.

At first I was happy with the services at Advanced Dermatology. I took my special needs son there too. I really like the doctors but the management was disrespectful to both my son and myself. If you have special needs or want to be respected by management find another place. They are unprofessional.

I love Leslie Graves! However, they dont answer their phones so making an appointment is difficult. I also had an hour wait to be seen last time..which had not been the normal experience. I hope their growth does not result in a drop in customer service because Leslie Graves is wonderful!
