Until todays visit, I would have given Advanced Dental a 5 star rating. Ive been a patient there for the past couple years and have always had great service from the staff and dentist. Today, after my 4 year old daughter (who is out of school for Christmas break and with me since Im a teacher) fell out of her chair and on to the floor at the very end of my appointment after sitting patiently and quietly for OVER 2 HOURS, the dentist said these exact words, "we normally dont allow babies back here because theres too much going on. I mean, shes cute and everything but next time Id leave her at home or something." I was so floored that I couldnt even respond at that moment. Please bear in mind, this is the second time I had my 4 year old (who is not a baby) with me at this location AND this location accepts pediatric patients!!!! I could understand the request if she was truly a baby, running around, being loud, or misbehaving in any way. She sat in her chair from 8:37 until 11:07!!! Please also bear in mind, I heard another young child in another exam room and upon leaving, saw another young boy standing next to the patient chair in yet another exam room. If "babies" were against the policy, why wait until today to enforce this? Why interact with my child at the previous appointment but wait until she falls to enforce a policy? Furthermore, yes "shes cute and all" but dont shun my very well-behaved little girl as if she was an issue. I expect my health provider to be child-friendly, consistent, reasonable, and relatable. Advanced Dental just proved today that they do not meet my expectations.

I only have one complaint but one I feel needs to be addressed. I had two teeth needed extraction. Upon my visit I ask if both can be extracted on this visit. I was told that just the one this morning and that an appointment for another exame and extraction would be made after this visit. (What the hell right!? Whats another week in pain/discomfort?! My tooth gets extracted. When the procedure is over I am told to go home and take ibuprofen.. I just have s large tooth removed. Right next to the other one that is infected and needs to be removed and told to take over the counter medication. I am so sick of all the dope heads and junkies causing people that truly need pain medication to have to suffer. I have plenty of ibuprofen here at home. You know why I have plenty of it? Because they dont work worth a damn for anyone In any kind of substantial pain. So this was my first visit to this establishment they make his many hundreds off of a patients insurance company and do not have the decency to ensure their patients are totally free of pain for thee next day or two? I guess they look at everyone who walks through the front door as pill seeking drug addicts. And just so there is no confusion. I am a 42 male with a full time job and clean background who is not a drug user. Now I will sit here and wait for this novacaine to ware off so I can suffer In discomfort the next 24 to 36hrs. If yoiu dont want to have to endure pain after your procedure for the following 24--48 hrs I recomend you all find a Dentist who cares about their patients

One thing that I always dread about the doctors office is waiting. Good thing Ive never had that feeling here. Ive never waited longer than 2 minutes to get to the chair, the most recent time I didnt even sit down. The staff is always extremely nice and always trying to help. I had a weird insurance scenario a few weeks ago and they took care of everything no problem. Something that I should have been doing (but I got frustrated and quit) they were able to do it effortlessly. The cleanings are always gentle, never a problem. Ive had two chipped tooth repairs done here, and both were extremely impressive. The color matching is unreal, I couldnt be happier. One thing that really helps tremendously on a more personal level is the email and text reminders for upcoming appointments. Too many time have I forgotten about an upcoming appointment or even completely missed a visit elsewhere. Not here! I would highly recommend, they do a great job!

I have never been treated better and Ive been quite a problem customer! I was ill for months and had to reschedule so many appts but they are always courteous and patient with me. I had questions about the bill and they explained everything to me very efficiently and kindly. The dentist... well she is a jewel! She is skilled, professional and extremely nice. I will always come here for any dental needs and so will my family members! Money wise, I did not pay any more than U of L was going to charge me and I actually paid less than their price for some things. I was relieved it was so cost effective seeing that the work performed is of the highest quality. I recommend anyone needing dental care to come here!

I went in on a Saturday with Doctor Gilbert! She was so fantastic, she might look young but she is absolutely amazing at what she does! I was terrified to get numbed and honestly she was done before I even knew that she had begun! Christie was her assistant For my fillings and she was amazing! She worked so quickly and my fillings feel great! The staff also squeezed me in for my cleaning that day so I wouldnt have to make an extra visit (thank you Sahara) my hygienist Jean was wonderful. You couldnt ask for better people to be taking care of you!! I will definitely be going back for any more cleanings or work that might need done in the future! Thank you Advanced Dental Center!

I should have done this review a few years ago but I want to say thanks. The staff was pretty darn good some of them took on a personal bedside manner that you dont expect out of a dental office. Its normally a cold slow morgue type of atmosphere but not here. I do not remember her name she is a very well educated blonde (at least I think so) that deep cleans your teeth. She gets up in there she is so strong for her size I want to see her soon. Dr. Talis was like a friend or sister being that Im married, she really took things in her on hands and got me the partials that I wanted. Im hard to please I admit but Dr. Talis went over and beyond expectations. Thank you Dr.

Oh my god the worst! I have a tooth thatscracked and and it says 24 hour emergency service but when I go in they cant see me for days so I point out the sign that says 24 hour emergency service she says oh that means you can get ahold of us 24 hours a day so I say no what you have is a phone we all have those. I wait and go in days later and they cant fill the tooth but they want to do a 1600 dollar root canal. So I say pull it and she says OK I can get you in in 6 days!!!! Im here now but the dentist is too busy to do it. Funny Im being charged to see a dentist but I cant see him WOW OK!!!!!! Please dont waste your time on this whole shady ass crew!
