DO NOT GO HERE!!! What a horrible experience with the front lobby staff. I began my day today ( 8-14-17) having to get my DOT Physical. I arrived at this location at 7am and was the first in line and shortly after filling out all the physical forms for their staff ( doing their job) I was called back to do my exam. Going through all the usual motions to get complied with DOT standards, most everything went well. Then came the arrogant doctor to do his whisper test, check my lungs, and hernia check. We began talking about my sleep apnea and I stated to him about the recent public acknowledgement that DOT would no longer require a compliance letter from my sleep doctor. He arrogantly replied, Where did you hear that? I said it was all over the National news. No longer than I finished, he replied they lied to you (uncomfortable moment) and I said why would they lie? He said they lied again and said I would need the letter and thankfully I had an appointment scheduled for later today. So off I went to get my letter and return back to Baptist Worx. Upon my return, the staff at the lobby took my letter and said have a seat we will call you in a few. After one hour passed I checked back with the staff and was insincerely told Im sorry. I hate to hear those words anymore as they have become the standard of what is said to clearly dismiss you back to your seat. I hope all of them are treated in a worse manner at any customer service location they attend. Is it normal protocol to tell patients to hold their bladders for one minute and yet they are still sitting there for 30 more? Upon my second hour of waiting for someone to look at the paper my sleep doctor had filled out containing several true false questions and her signature, the same paperwork they have turned in since 2014, I ended up walking out tonight without paperwork I have paid for. I told the staff member at the counter to mail it to me and she stated they would not do so and looked over and without hesitation told me it was "sitting right there, but the girl who could "hand me my paperwork" would be back in a minute. ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?? Office manager should be FIRED immediately!!! RUDE, INCOMPETENT, NASTY and UNPROFESSIONAL staff

Let me start by saying I do not write reviews. I tend to believe the best in people, but Im afraid someone will actually be hurt by this place. I went in at 4:00 this morning hoping to get a simple breathing treatment. Ive had asthma since I was a kid and have had bronchitis several times, so I know what to do when Im having symptoms and my inhaler isnt helping the way it should. I went in specifically because Im pregnant and want to make sure my baby is getting the oxygen she needs. Halfway through filling out my paperwork, the PA called me back and said she wasnt comfortable treating pregnant patients. I explained my symptoms and what I was hoping for. She listened to me breathe, but not deeply, didnt take my tempterature, blood pressure, or any other vitals. She also said breathing treatments are for children...which is just not true. They sent me home untreated and without an examination. I called my OB this morning and she confirmed what I thought...that they have no idea what they are doing or talking about. Now, Im going in to the emergency room on recommendation from my doctor. At least they didnt charge me.

I would not reccomend this location to anyone. I went in today to have a physical and Dr. Michael Newkirk was very rude and could not perform a physical. It is beyond his scope to perform a physical on a healthy person. If this is how Baptist opperates then I will be switching to Norton Healthcare where patients are treated with respect and dignity. How rude is it to accept a patients money, have a tech do half of the physical and the doctor to yell and be degrading to a patient and tell them that they are not welcome at this location. Not a very good way to keep business in a tough economy. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE. THIS IS THE FIRST DOCTOR TO EVER MAKE ME CRY AND I FEEL VERY EMBARASSED. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE KENTUCKY MEDICAL BOARD RELATING THIS DOCTOR AND THIS VISIT.

Okay there are way too many unfair reviews about this place. This is an urgent care facility not a hospital or doctors office. Let me repeat: URGENT CARE. For things that need to be taken care of urgently or risk serious health issues in the future. Drug tests and pulled muscles are not urgent. When I got nearly all the skin ripped off 2 or my fingers at work and was told to go here and they did all 9 yards. Tetnus shots, x rays, cleaned me up, supplied me with the things I needed to take care of myself and get better. I felt very taken care of here and while I agree it is not spectacular it is decent enough for what it is, just dont expect a whole lot from a urgent care facility if your issue isnt really urgent.

Wow, how to start. Some of the ladies are helpful. Particularly, there is a blonde that can be heard yelling and giggling while you wait giving you the impression that she doesnt care how long your wait is. After asking if maybe my wife should go get food while I wait, she looked at my chart on the desk she was sitting at and said "we will call you in a few minutes, have a seat in the waiting area". This woman is very unprofessional and after further observation of her badge, she is a simple desk clerk. Good luck, and they nearly put the wrong healthcare facility as my employer.

They are very rude and unprofessional. Waited 3 hours to do an employment physical. Called to see if my records from my former local provider were received. They could not locate. Kept putting me on hold unexpectedly. Found the records after arguing with them that they were indeed sent over via fax. Rude Doctors and nurses. Jabbed me harder than usual for blood work. Was trying to make daycare arrangements since I was going to be late and they were being extremely rude

I just want a freakin job and this place is the bowels of hell for anyone prepared enough to pee in a cup. Im seriously debating on peeing myself right here. 3 hours 3. EFFING. HOURS. Just because you got in here first doesnt mean you get to go first. Any appointments take priority. I get that but Jesus H Christ if thats the case split the staff! I hope theyre gonna pay for my busted bladder after this. I just want to PEE. WILL NEVER RECCOMEND TO ANYONE EVER.

I paid for a physical for my CDL license but did not receive it due to some difficulty with Sleep Apnea. After submitting my paperwork I waited 30 minutes to be issued my physical clearance. The Prego female did not even look at my paperwork, just laid it to the side and did nothing with it. After realizing she had brushed me off without a care I asked for my license back and left telling her to call when it was ready !! Terrible customer service is right !!

If I could give no stars I would. Staff is very unfriendly, every single one of them. I asked the man who takes the insurance info what the group number was on my card and he said I dont know. The PCA was even worse. She told me I needed to rest and stay off my leg and I told her I have to stand at my job and she said tell them you have to sit and she refused to write a doctors note. Do not waste your time.
