My mother has been in Westport place now for about 3 weeks. Her Medicare will not allow her to be transferred. Do not let the elderly in your family go here if you can help it. Every problem in the world you can imagine from getting my mothers meds wrong, terrible food, not bathing her on a couple cases. They came in with her lunch one day and the lettuce was wilted and black, the bun was hard as a rock and thats just one small example of the food they serve and want your love one eat. We of course asked the nurse to replace her food and I asked him to eat just the lettuce he served my mother and he said no. I asked, why not? He said it didnt look good and its turned bad. Well if you see that and you know its bad. Then why even bring it out to serve? But today my mother got nothing for breakfast. Now moms diabetic so for all you folks out there with this problem know how important it is to eat, blood sugar level, etc. etc. When we got there and our mother told us we called for the nurse and asked what was going on he just said, we had emergency this morning and I forgot about your mom and when I finally got around to her the kitchen was closed. So even when they did realize my mother hasnt eatn they couldnt bring her cheese&crackers or applesauce my gosh anything. But if this place gets an emergency be ready cause your love one is probably gonna be ignored. Places like Westport Place you people are expected to do your job and do it right not part of time but all the time 24/7. No matter what emergency comes along or whats happening. Your staff should have more pride and care then that from the kitchen all the way to management.
