I took my eight year old cat Gracie to this office for grooming and shots. She requires sedation for most any procedure, as she has been declawed on all four paws and will try to bite. I informed the staff of this when I made the appointment and again when I took her in. When I picked her up, a technician presented a list of things Gracie needed to have taken care of on her next visit, including a oral-nasa fistula and dental care for her peridontal disease. I was unaware she suffered from either of these. After I got Gracie home and was able to check her over, I noticed she was missing her front left canine. I immediately called the office and spoke with the same technician. This young lady told me I was mistaken, Gracie was missing the tooth when I brought her in ! I know any one of several things could have happened which would result in Gracie losing her tooth, but I also know my cat had all four canines when I took her in and three when I brought her home. For the staff to tell me differently is beyond anything I have ever experienced.

My family has trusted Evergreen with our dogs for over a decade. My childhood dog for most of her life, my parents two dogs, and now my year old pup. Most of the staff has been there for a very long time, my dog knows the staff and is happy to see them. I have never waited more than 5 minutes past our appointment. They are a little expensive in some areas, but if you ask about the costs upfront they are honest and transparent. If you are unhappy with your bill them you should have done the research and asked questions just like any other service. My childhood dog lived for many, many years longer than expected. Good people, good service.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Hornback and his staff for 14 years. He and his staff have always put the needs of our pets out front. I must say that some of the problems that one of our pets had was very rare and Dr. Hornbacks professionalism superseded expectations in that he researched, consulted with specialists, etc. to be able to care the very best for our pet that he could. I have never felt uncomfortable calling to ask even the most supercilious question because every care and concern is handled with professionalism and genuine affection.

Took my cat there because He would see the vet and get groomed. An all in one stop. He never had any type of skin outbreak. After he was groomed once there he got some kind of skin infection....the staff is kind but I am not sure what is going on in the grooming area...not sure if the same equipment is used for cats and dogs....all I know is I will not go back. He has never been sickly but after going here, it was always something when he came home. Im going back to Cat Clinic on Bardstown road.

I have been taking my dogs to Evergreen animal hospital for 5 years now. While they arent the cheapest they are always upfront about pricing. And as with most things you get what you pay for! They know what they are doing and recommend the best care. Always very professional and kind. I even board my dogs here when I am out of town considering one isnt the friendliest and if something does happen they are already at the vet! Dr. Hornback is great and I wouldnt trust my dogs with anyone else.

We told them we didnt want to spend a lot of money because she was 16 years old, blind and deff. So they ran $900.00 worth of test with out telling us what it would cost, and said you are right, now pay the bill. So be prepared to get your wallet out because $900.00 is not a lot of money to them. This was 4/2016

Warm and friendly service. They treat your pet with care. I had no worries about leaving my pet with them. They keep you informed and make sure your pet is up to date with all of their shots. Great Service. Shadow loves going there to be pampered :)
