This is the best dentist office I have ever been to! I have been putting off getting my cavities filled for a while because Im terrified of the procedure (never had that done before) and also its very expensive. Well last year I attempted to go to Bluebonnet Dental on Coursey Rd in Baton Rouge and with just the xray and exam I felt the dentist there was SO RUDE and inconsiderate. He did not seem to care about me or my problems at all. He didnt even see a giant hole in the side of one of my molar that I specifically pointed out. Thus, I put off getting my teeth fixed once again. So when I scheduled my appointment at LA Dental Center I was a little apprehensive and nervous. But from the minute I walked in I felt welcomed and cared for. Everyone from the receptionists to Dr. Harris were pleasant and courteous. The hygienist and Dr. Harris both took the time to hear my concerns and make sure I was getting the proper care. When I was checking out, Lisa was wonderful! She helped me apply for the Care Credit and understand my payment options. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE!! They will treat you with compassion and respect. I am actually looking forward to getting my cavities fixed because I know I will be in good hands. I believe I may be slowly overcoming my phobia of the dentist. All because they made me feel so at ease.

We needed an emergency problem addressed on a Saturday. Very few dental clinics offer Saturday hours (including our own regular dentist). After making several calls, I was relieved to secure an appointment with Louisiana Dental Center. My husband was given an appointment time and instructions for what information to bring. He arrived to his appointment early, completed all necessary paperwork and provided insurance information, etc. After being brought to the back, he was then turned away. The dental assistant informed him the front office was out of turn in making an appointment for him as they actually had NO availability. He was devastated. His pain level was quite miserable and the promised relief was not to be had. At this point, the last option of potential dentists to be had for the weekend, was no longer available. We were assured by the front desk of a timeslot, only to be shoved away by the dental staff. Im certain all bookings are automated these days...via computer....seems impossible to "accidentally" book a patient in a timeslot that is "already filled".

I had to have an extraction of a tooth done, unfortunately since I am pregnant I had to have the lower grade anesthetics. The doctor assign to my extraction was DR. ROBERT HASTINGS. He started to pull my tooth and he said there would be some pressure, ok I get that. While he was trying to pull my tooth, pressure turned into extreme pain to the point of me having to ask him to stop BC I was shaking, sweating profusely, in extreme pain, and nearly about to pass out. He stands up and says " You can get it pulled elsewhere." I needed this tooth gone, so needless to say, I stayed in the seat crying nearly the whole time not only from the pain but also how I was treated. DONT WORRY HASTINGS (you dont deserve to be addressed as a doctor, doctors are there to help people, not treat them substandard) I WILL BE GOING ELSEWHERE FROM NOW ON! AS FOR THE OWNERS OF THE BUSINESS, HE IS NOT AN ASSEST BUT ONLY A DETRACTOR OF BUSINESS AND A PERSONS WORST NIGHTMARE AS A DENTIST.

I am so happy that family is now using Louisiana Dental Center - Dr. Hastings. My daughter, Miranda was told by our previous dentist that braces messed up her teeth and needed over $6,000.00 worth of dental treatment and that was the estimate with insurance!! When Dr. Hastings did an exam, he said that she did NOT need that work done. She in fact only needed a little bit of work done. The cost with insurance he gave us was about $1,500.00 - BIG difference and a lot less work! She did not need all the crowns, etc that was told to us by our previous dentist. I am so glad we chose to come see Dr. Hastings and get a second opinion. I know that my daughter is even more glad!! Also, the ladies who answer the phone are always nice and Miranda has always come home satisfied. They even took time to talk to me on the phone, and get everything all set up. We will continue using Dr. Hastings!! 5 stars!! ***** :)

This was an amazing experience for myself and my son. First, the office is state of the art and absolutely gorgeous. My son has a regular dentist, but due to the fact that his "injury" happened on a weekend, we were able to get an appointment here for Saturday morning. I actually got my times mixed up for walk-ins...I was supposed to have him there BY 11, but got mixed up and thought that they STARTED taking walk-ins AT 11. Bottom line, I arrived at around 11:20 and they took me anyway. Everyone was very kind and accommodating in the welcome area. Once in the back, our experience stayed top notch...from the Dental assistant to the dentist. Overall, they treated my son like we had been patients for years. I was over the top impressed with the whole experience and will recommend Louisiana Dental Center / Juban Road, Denham Springs to everyone! Job well done from start to finish... Thank You! I live in Georgia. During the week of November 23rd, I end up with a serious gum infection from an abscess tooth. My sister took me to Louisiana Dental Center. I was told that this location was new. (July 2013). I liked the open concept. The lobby and restroom were nice and clean. I am quite nervous around dentists because most of them I have experienced make me feel weird, undignified and uncomfortable. The attending dentist at Louisiana Dental Center was friendly and courteous and not uptight or aggressive even during my extraction! That speaks volumes for me. It was an experience that is beginning to restore my confidence in dentists. The front desk and the dental assistants were professional and friendly. Everyone were hospitable and caring. I would recommend this Dental Center to anyone that have teeth and gum sensitivity issues.

Dr. Harris and his assistants are the best. I have had ugly dentures over implants for years, and have spent a fortune for "fixes" with my previous dentist, not counting years of pain. I was told that I couldnt wear a new set of dentures. I went to LDC for a second opinion, and was given several options. The one I decided on was to have Dr. Harris make me a full set of new dentures for a price that really surprised me at being so affordable. I cant believe how beautiful my new dentures are, and how well they fit. Dr. Harris has been fantastic - he takes his time with me, making sure everything is perfect, he explains everything in great detail, and has treated me with respect and understanding. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Harris to anyone having denture issues or needing dentures.

The quality of the work done here is good at the Juban office. Beware though, they say they will call your insurance company to verify coverage and tell you that the insurance said they will cover this and this. When it comes down to it either they didnt call or lie to you to get you to agree to having work done. When it gets time to pay the bill guess what ohh your insurance didnt cover it after all and now you must pay the full amount sorry for any inconvenience. I spoke to the accounts manager Dawn, who was less than helpful and a smart @ss to boot. She said that my insurance company verified coverage by phone to them. The insurance company says no one called us about it. So in short USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I wont be going back.
