I came to this dentist office because I had recently moved, previously went to their Denham springs location on juban. They were amazing. But sadly this office was a horrible experience. Staff was "friendly" & I was trying to explain and catch them up with what kind of dental plan I had going at different location, but due to flood, had a child, husband laid off. I had to put a few things on hold, well I had an infection and it was so painful and usually I can handle it, I always keep some antibiotics around, but I had a few infections. I was missing work cause I couldnt even lift my head. I couldnt sleep at all I had pain shooting to my ears and neck, I have a 10 month old baby and between the excruciating pain and his cries and my husband & needing to keep the household running, I couldnt all I could do is cry and taking way over the recommended dosage of Tylenol and Ibuprofen, home remedies everything possible. I knew I needed to go see my new dentist. Well they took xrays etc. And when it came to making a dental plan he just treated me like heres antibiotics and send me on my way. Well my previous dentist. Dr.Owens at their location in Denham, he cared he asked me what was my goal what would I like to do (since I have bad teeth, runs in the family. Within two years Ive had problem after problem) so dr.owens took what I said in consideration and made a plan and said this is how I can help you. Etc. Well this new dentist didnt give me options he was rude. I wanted to actually do something since now we are more financially stable to afford some of the work. He just wanted to rip my teeth all out didnt talk to me about pricing options to replace. So as I waited for my prescription for antibiotics I asked the dental assistant could I have anything for pain. Something that can help me until the antibiotics can kick in and decrease some of the pressure and pain. She said she would ask, she came back speaking loudly and before she even came into the room, was in hallways saying Dr. Isnt going to give you narcotics he wont give you that if thats what your looking for. And handed a prescription of ibuprofen (after already telling them Id been taking near 1200 mg no relief) I was shocked and embarrassed because then other patients and assistants were now staring. What upset me was the fact I did not specifically ask for any narcotics, I know there are different medications to prescribe that help tremendously with dental pain. So I got my things and proceeded to check out, I filled my prescriptions and gave it a go, no relief. I couldnt go to work from the extreme pain got suspended for 2 weeks, and I cried and cried from pain. I finished my medications. By the 3rd day I had a little relief but infections didnt clear up completely and I was uncomfortable to call and tell them I need more antibiotics maybe something stronger because of the way I was treated. All in all I could understand if I had Been a patient who had constantly came in complaining of pain. But I was not, I try not to so that I can save as much of my insurance money for procedures and work that I wanted done. I am a patient who was in need, I felt so horrible and upset that I couldnt count on my dentist for help and relief that I truly needed. Being treated as if I were a drug seeker. So Im now trying to find a new dentist and thats not so easy. Best of luck to everyone else.

I payed !50.00 for my dental records from my previous dentist and hand delivered them to this office. They have lost them and have no recollection of my ever dropping them off. I always have to leave a msg and the call never gets returned. Payed over 1500 out of pocket for a root canal and a crown. I was really against the root canal. Took 2 weeks for the permanent crown to come in, the temporary fell off several times while waiting. The procedure was painful and I was refused pain medication. After the permanent crown was in place it was very uncomfortable and my gums stayed inflamed. Fast forward a year and a half I had to pay another couple hundred out of pocket...after contacting the I was reminded I signed off on my treatment plan which states all prices are "estimates ". Basically, it was explained that insurance constantly changes and the billing department never knows for sure how much patients will be charged till after the work is completed. My permanent crown first he root canal has recently fallen out; this is one of the major problems I have had after going to this office and seeing several dentists at this office. I will update this post later after I find another dentist.

This has been one of the best dental offices that I have been to in a long time. They have the best prices on crowns and different procedures. They saved me nearly $200 on one crown because their prices were that much lower then my previous dentist. My regular doctor is Dr. Willis and he is wonderful. He does what is necessary and is very professional. However one Saturday I had to come in for an emergency procedure and Dr. Dyer was my dentist. I had to have a root canal because of an abscess tooth. Because I was only three weeks away from my wedding she told me to contact her everyday for a week to make sure that the infection goes away correctly. She said that if I needed to come in again she would make room in her busy schedule. I have never had a dentist that cared that much!! Louisiana Dental Center is simply the best! They go out of their way, super friendly and have the best prices. Going to the dentist can be a pain but they are super great!

UPDATE: 3/11/15- so here it is 6 months later and the tooth still hurts. I called 2 times after the procedure and the dentist said, its nothing, itll go away. That was roughly 4 months ago, so Im scheduling an appointment with my normal dentist to see if we can get this straightened out. I WILL NEVER advise anyone to go here. The reason these people have 5 stars is because they offer you a $50 discount if you leave them a good review on Google. The catch is that you have to do it before you get any work done. I went to LDC 9/17/2014. I am here out of town working, and had a toothache so I went to google to find the best reviewed place. I was kind of skeptical about a dentist office having that many stars, but I decided to go anyway. The staff there are really helpful, really attentive, and really caring. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. I have to go back next week for a root CANAL.

My wife Jennifer wheat came in on 7-7-17 and had horrible too tooth ache and been crying for 3 days taking ibu 1500mg a day and 1000mg of Tylenol extra strength and no relief. And she is getting amoxicillin which is antibiot and said take Tylenol. They could have gave her a few pain meds. Now I gotta see my wife crying in pain and crying for next few days or until the pain goes away. Dr Henderson or something like that didnt care at all my wife was in tears. All he said was here is some antibiotics. Hope you feel better.. And I know he could gave my wife said few pain meds. Itd not. Like she takes them like a drug head. Look up her pharmacy records. Unless needed she want take them. But they dont care only about making a plan to make money cause your insurance dont cover half of it. Dont come here for emergency. The dentist was Patrick something
