I have taken my current dog here for nearly 10 years, as well as previous dogs I have owned. Dr. Mills is very knowledgable and takes great pains to make explanations for conditions relating to my pet so I can understand. He also brings a unique perspcetive and usually can relate a situation I am facing to similar he has encountered before. It is a great comfort to entrust my animal to someone with such a depth and range of experience. His staff are excellent and caring individuals and it is much appreciated to have them as the face of North Deering Veterinary Hospital. One thing to be aware of is veterinary costs. I am sure North Deering is comparable to other vets in the area, but will advise any potential pet owners to think about budget for pet care as part of their decision to get a pet. Health care for pets can be priceydepending on your pets health needs, unless you are aware of what to expect. Also, the staff and Doctors at North Deering will work with you on treatment options that will meet your budget allowances.

I am very disappointed in NDVH. Ive been bringing my dogs and cats there for 20+ years and have watched the quality of customer care decline. Ive had a different vet almost every year for the past 5 years. Staff turnover seems quite high. Some of the new policies and practices they have put in place are actually unethical. My longevity counts for nothing and I have ALWAYS kept my appoints and paid my bill on time and in full. I removed my dog from their care when I thought their practices with her were questionable and 5 years later have removed my other pets from their care for the same reasons.

The staff here is fabulous! They truly care about the animals and put the needs of my pets before anything else. I have been a client here for a long time and would never take my animals anywhere else. Dr. Mark Mills is extraordinary in his expertise and compassion. I have found this to be true of the entire staff. They always give me options and never make me feel like I have to buy anything or pressure me into procedures. Wonderful environment! I would recommend this vet practice to anyone!

Dr. Mark Mills has been my cats Veterinarian since cats were 8 weeks old, now 11 yrs. He is an amazing, knowledgeable, compassionate Vet. All the Vets. have been wonderful, but most of my visits have been with Dr. Mills. The "ladies" at the front reception desk greet you and your very important animal friend in a very caring manner. I am a medical person as well as an animal advocate. All our animals deserve good care so they can lead long, happy lives. Please take care of them.

NDVA has taken care of all my cats for nearly twenty years. Dr. Mark Mills has primarily provided their care. He has a deep love of animals, which is just what you want in a vet. Other vets on staff have provided care also. I had an end of life" appointment for my dearly loved first cat, Egypt, who was eighteen at the time. Dr. Goodman handled this visit; she had had her own elderly cats, and gave me a tip that really helped Egypt have a good quality of life for her last week.
