Ive been taking my pets to the Animal Hospital of South Gorham (AHSG) for over 20 years. Theyve treated my dogs, my cat and my pet rats. Theyve treated every one of my pets with respect and they do their best to provide the best care to each pet every time. They know each of my pets individually and are aware of each of their particular quirks. I currently have a dog that gets nervous at the vets and they take special care to take their time with him. His anxiety at the vets has improved greatly because of their kindness and patience. I have no doubt that when I take one of my pets there, theyre receiving the best care possible. Everyone at the AHSG is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Mulski and Dr. Neidermeyer are very open and honest. I know that when they give me advice, its coming from a concern for whats best for my pet. They are very easy to talk to and if I have any questions or would like to discuss something, they sincerely listen to me. When end of life decisions must be made, they are compassionate and supportive. Theyve known most of my pets for almost their entire lifetimes (from the time I adopted them to the time they passed away) and because of the excellent care my pets have received from everyone at the AHSG, theyve all had good, long lives. I highly recommend the Animal Hospital of South Gorham.

Upon arriving at, early, with our Hotot Rabbit, who had flystrike severely. Though we did everything we could, and was in amazement that she survived the ride to Animal Hospital of S. Gorham. They took Ella into a room immediately. In the faint echos, I knew it wasnt good. Thomas Niedermeyer V.M.D. Was absolutely fantastic as he was honest about her condition and very professional. I know that he worked hard knowing her chance of survival really had expired. We chose to give her that last piece of hope, and not euthanize her. But ultimately, Ella subcome to the inevitable. We made sure that she wouldnt feel pain during her process, leaving us with comfort knowing that she was in the right hands. Even though she is only here in spirit, Thomas and his team deserve full credit for their efforts of our wishes. I highly recommend this clinic. And they are very fairly priced for the amount of work they out in to care for our beloved pet. Thank you Thomas for treating our pet like she was your own.

I have been completely satisfied with the service and compassion offered by the Vets and Staff at the Animal Hospital of South Gorham, over the past decade, and have trusted them with the care of my three dogs. They have always tried to get us in when there has been an urgent situation and the wait has never been overly long, by any means, when waiting for a routine visit. (PATIENCE IS TRULY A VIRTUE, in this era of people who are SELF-IMPORTANT and expect "IMMEDIATE GRATIFICATION"). As far as costs are concerned, I dont think that you are going to see much difference from vet to vet. Healthcare is expensive; even for pets. Its a struggle sometimes, but you have to make the best of it. Many thanks to both Dr. Mulsky and Dr. Niedermeyer for your many years of dedicated service.

I have been going here for approximately 5 years. I love the vets but hate the scheduling and cost. Every time I have an appointment I have to wait 45 - 60 minutes before my pets are seen. Never do they offer any type of discount for my wait time. In fact they are overpriced as compared to other vets in the area. Unfortunately my bad experience with the way they handle their schedule and their pricing has me changing vets.

Super friendly staff! And Dr. Neidermeyer accept goats in his office!! I couldnt ask for better pet/customer treatment. The cost is very affordable considering what farm vets charge when they do a house call....
