This office is ridiculous. Though the people may be nice that only goes so far. The only reason I even give two stars is because ever person I ever interacted with was very nice. To begin with let me describe calling the office: First, you get the phone prompts to press 1 if you are a new patient or 2 if you are an established patient, so you press 2…and then you get the phone prompts to press 1 if you are a new patient or 2 if you are an established patient, so you press 2 (yes, you do the same thing twice). You are then given the business hours, which don’t match what’s on their website. Most businesses do this if you are calling outside of the normal business hours, but no, you are well within the timeframes. This is then followed by different prompts…none of which ever actually get you to a person, just voicemail…unless the voice mailbox is full, which means you can’t even leave a message. I have tried many, many times to call someone and out of those many, many times I have actually spoken with someone exactly one time. On to my actual dental experiences. I had a new patient appointment scheduled for February. I received a voicemail that week reminding me of my appointment…or so I thought. So I show up later that week for my appointment, just to find out that I apparently cancelled my appointment. Considering neither I nor my wife ever contacted the office to cancel the appointment I don’t know how this could happen. So I rescheduled for the next available time, which was more than a month later. What I found out come March is that when they do the reminder call you have to call back to confirm your appointment or your appointment gets cancelled. So I try and try and try to call back to confirm and finally get someone to confirm (this is my one time talking to someone on the phone). So I go to the appointment and they have me under my father’s information. My father has never been to this office before and has a completely different insurance than I do. I gave them this information when I set up the original appointment. We assume that a dentist he saw at some point joined their practice and had his files. I go back to get my teeth checked and all goes smoothly here. The hygienist is very nice and after she is done the dentist comes in, who is also very nice. He spends about five minutes with me and tells me they want to set up a time to do the routine cleaning. No biggie since this was an initial checkup with a new dentist. I go to billing and scheduling where the woman brings up my account and she looks a bit confused. So she asks me my birthday and says that the one she has on file is for 25 years earlier than that, my father’s birthday (I thought this was fixed). So we get that little snafu fixed and I schedule a cleaning in May. May comes along and I go to my cleaning. I get taken back a little late, but that’s no big deal. The new hygienist is very nice, explains things well, and sends me on my way. I am told to sit in the waiting area while the scheduler/biller finishes up with someone else. So I sit there, and sit there, and sit there for half an hour. I finally say something and though apologetic they act like I should have known to mention something. Apparently the paperwork wasn’t taken off of the printer and given to the scheduler. So I schedule a follow-on appointment for August. August comes around and I get a call that my hygienist has left the practice and they need to reschedule. So they tell me they can see me the next day…ummm…like I can just drop everything in work and life like that. And when is the next available? October. Let’s see, your employee left your organization and I get penalized for it? There are multiple hygienists and dentists at this office. On top of this I get letters in the mail saying that my insurance hasn’t processed the claim for May. I contact the insurance company and they have no record of the claim. So they try to contact the office…and can’t get in touch with anyone because nobody ever answers the phone.

My first appointment was on the 26th of April. The wait time was fine only about 15 minutes or so because I had already filled out all my new patient paperwork. The hygienist Heather and Dr. Chaatwal (I think thats how you spell it) were awesome. Only issue I have is that I had to go back that Friday because one of my problem teeth actually broke beyond repair. I say beyond repair because it was already broken in another area. I came in for emergency assistance and instead of just pulling the tooth then and there, they put a piece of cotton ball with clove oil on it in my tooth hole and told me to come back for my appointment. I came back today for my appointment only to have them do nothing, yet again. Even though the dentist saw that my tooth was broken he did nothing because he didnt have time. He was nice about it but still. Whats the point of me coming in when you already know you arent going to do anything? He tried to get me scheduled for tomorrow which isnt going to work. I asked if they had anything on Monday but their computers were down so they gave me the number for the oral surgeon, Dr. Asher to see if he could get me in sooner and pull my tooth. I had to call his assistant CJ, who was not very nice when I finally spoke to her. She told me that I would have to wait until July 18th! Thats absolutely ridiculous. My point is that I have been to this office on three separate occasions in the past 3 weeks and nothing has been done to my teeth besides x-rays and a clove oil cotton ball. Havent even had a cleaning because they want that to be scheduled on a different day as well. Today was the last straw for me. Another big problem with this office is that no one ever answers the phone or returns phone calls. Ever! At least not in my experience. I will not be returning to this place. Waste of gas and time.

Really cant speak on an experience with a dental cleaning here, because I havent had one. However, I called a couple months ago to schedule an appt. Honestly, I havent been to a dentist in some time. I should have known when I called to pass this place up, because the receptionist was clearly not intelligent. Every time she asked a question and I answered, it was "what?" "huh?" "can you repeat that?" Anyways, so I scheduled an appt and gave them my insurance info. Again, this was roughly 2 months ago. They had PLENTY of time to verify my insurance info. Well, I come to my appt, and get back to the hygienist, and she asks if they scanned my insurance card. I said no, they hadnt yet. She takes me card and says "Oh, you have an HMO. Let me check and see if youre on the roster." Again, I havent been to a dentist in a while. I had no idea who Cigna had assigned to me as my primary provider. Well, as it turns out, Dental One was not my primary provider. So I couldnt get anything done. I was told I had to call Cigna and have Dental One assigned as my primary dental provider, and then call back for an appt. Why the f**k wasnt this explained when I called 2 months ago? I will say, the hygienist was very nice and apologetic. But still, its not acceptable. I did call Cigna to get reassigned, and then I called back to schedule an appt and was on hold for 10 mins, then forced to leave a voicemail! Ugh, maybe this is a sign from God to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Lets see if my opinion of them changes after I actually get something done here.
