He took care of me when I was hospitalized. I am a health care provider myself, always went to doctors in Montgomery County NEVER to anyone in Prince Georges or Charles County. You know why. Dr Onwuka is the first doctor from the SoMd area that I can, in good conscience, recommend when asked. I am writing this now because I just received a thank you from a very grateful friend of a friend who said Im not going to die he listened to me hes going to get my records and figure out whats going on Ive been in and out of hospitals for months, wasting away to skin and bones, but I actually feel hope because he really cares Everyone else just treated the electrolytes or the symptoms and blew me off. This type of appraisal has been repeated to me over and over from friends and loved ones (my husband included). As medicine today is ruled by market forces, things are only going to get worse. Your insurance will determine your fate. Dr Onwuka refuses to practice that way. If you just want a pill for that or just want something to reinforce your opinions like your favorite news program, dont bother going to him, save his valuable time for those who need real health care.

Dr. Onwuka is very knowledgeable & attentive with a great bedside manner. He is a primary care physician who makes home visits to my Assisted Living home. Dr Onwuka is diligent in follow up, even notifying me of concerns on the weekends. Thank you Dr Onwuka for you expertise in maintaining my clients health.

My cardiologist sent me to Dr.Onwuka. I was shocked at my first visit when he sat and talked to me for almost an hour ! When does that ever happen ? That made me a life long patient. I have multiple health problems but always feel like his is on top of everything and hes keeping me out of the hospitals !!
