I was just now on here shopping for a dentist and saw all 5 reviews on this guy and then a 1. So i looked up the 1 to see what the patient had issue with. I was frankly amazed. It was the dumbest neg review I have literally ever read. I have owned small businesses in my life, and am appalled that somebody would attempt to hurt someone elses business because they are so thin skinned and ridiculous. I have decided to try this doctor, BECAUSE of the one ridiculous 4 year old review from a total whiner....about something beyond silly. This wacked out complainer basically says....he has been emotionally scared to go to a dentist anymore because a few comments were made about a new piercing in his lip that looked alarming when stretched. If I was the dentist I would NEVER want this guy in my office anyway. Not because of the piercing ( I have tats... Im good with all that), but because this emotionally babyfied whiner is a weak arrogant soul that cant handle the tiniest things in life without crumbling into a heap of pity and paranoia ( over nothing!). Common sense 101#...lets see.....A new lip piercing stretched hard ( as is normal during dental work), can be scary to a dental tech, and yes, gross, Im sure they felt like they were hurting it, and can be freaked out by the looks of that. I am SURE the comments were said lightheartedly....but hey this basket case dude likely crumbles when his weak kneed safe space is approached by a gnat. what is happening to our society these days? Babies everywhere, men no where. Grow up America. This may not help the dentist in that people may assume I know him. Never met the guy, never seen the guy. Know him zero. Just happened on this and feel sorry that he felt he had to grovel to a mess like that. Wouldnt surprise me if he feels he has to reprimand this writing for the sake of other whiners that might read it. Dont care. Want my country back. america needs to stop producing adult babies. Go Trump.

I need to rewrite this comment, because the review site this was left on no longer exists. I was a customer of this establishment growing up. All good experiences then, without a doubt. However when I returned in my adolescence, that changed. While laying in the chair, both the hygienist and the doctor had the need to make comments about a lip piercing that I had. I will paraphrase so Im less liable here, but the comments made while I was under examinations proceeded as follows. Hygenest: "Look at this, why would you do this" Doctor in office: "It makes me feel sick to my stomach" What they are referring to is a lip piercing that I had approximately 10 month before. Not infected or any other reason you could imagine for it to look "gross". More hygienic ally kept then a typical ear piercing. This continued for a few minutes, with serval other comments being made, consisting of a comment to the substance of, "I am going to be sick". All of these comments occurred while I am still my under their tools, subjected and unable to object to their ridicule. Now I will say that this occurred more than 4 years ago, however, I do believe it needs to be said. I have not felt comfortable seeing a dentist since, and as a result I have not done so. I feel I may have to resort to sedation dentistry. There is something about being told that you may be vomited on while your mouth is open on the table that sticks with you. Be wary.

Care was fine and Dr Davis was very nice but after the first appointment, it was 3-4 weeks of phone calls and emails to get insurance sorted. The office kept saying "this is not an issue on our end" and sending bills. After the third request for the insurance claim to be filed, it magically went through and my bill was fully covered. No comment was given on what the initial issue was. I understand that insurance is annoying to deal with but when you have someone on staff to deal strictly with insurance, I dont feel it should be such a hassle and require so much follow up. And being repeatedly told "there is nothing we can do, this is not our fault" does not make me really confident in an office should a bigger issue comes up down the road. Ended up switching to a different dentist and have had no insurance issues with the new office.

I have been going to this dentist for over 15 years now, starting when I was a young teenager. I have always felt at home here, and the hygienists and dentists have felt like a small family to me. They have helped my teeth stay clean and healthy, what else can I ask for?! The lack of reviews here tells you one clear thing - theyre doing things right. Most people dont take the time to write reviews unless they want to vent about a bad experience, which are usually written with emotion and not logic. This place is booked year round, so Im surprised more people havent written to tell about this wonderful gem of Eldersburg. Seriously, if youre looking for a dentist, and you dont want to be just a name on a chart - go here.

After interviewing around to find a new local dentist in the Sykesville-Eldersburg area for ourselves and young kids, we found that Dr. Ron and Dr. Sally Davis were both accommodating and friendly. Weve been going to them ever since (over 15 years). My young son was VERY nervous and had a gag reflex. Dr. Sally was patient and got him through it until he grew out of it. Dr. Ron took my frantic call one weekend after my son broke his front teeth. Dr. Ron fixed my sons teeth with additions, and they have held up extremely well! Both Drs are caring and kind. I highly recommend them for all ages.

Dr.Davis answered my text at 7:30 am, and scheduled me for 9:00 am the same day. He saw me immediately, and diagnosed my problem right away. He followed up with texts that evening and over the long week-end, even when he was out of town. Explained all options and costs, and really did a fantastic job with everything. Service was excellent, knowledge and experience was top notch and I couldnt be happier having gone to see him. Highly recommend.

I would recommend Eldersburg Family Dentristry to everyone including my Mother. The Office transmits a welcome family and caring atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. I was amazed how much parience Dr. Ron has with young patients. During a recent crown replacement, my care was punctual, professional and painless. I am proud to be an adopted member of the Davis Family. Thank you Dr. Ron, Dr. Sally and all of your support staff.

I appreciated the call offering me an earlier appointment due to the impending snow storm. Walked in the door, was greeted by Amy, and immediately brought back for my cleaning. Friendly and genuine conversations. Attention to detail exam by Dr. Davis. Again, all is well. Ill be back in 6 months. A very pleasant experience from someone who (before Dr. Davis) had dentist-phobia.

Have seen Dr. Sally and Ron since we moved to Eldersburg in 2001. They are great with the kids, adults and seniors. Their office staff are pleasant, professional and are able to manage all of the scheduling changes to have made over the years. Definitely a five star practice that we will continue to use for years to come
