I took my older two children for a first visit to see Cynthia Miller in June. They were in and out of a supposed exam and cleaning in under 15 minutes, which I found incredibly odd. I thought possibly she had some assistants helping her with the appointments like a dental hygienist and/or assistant, but I was unable to find out for sure since she was too busy to review their appointments with me, which I also found unusual for a dentist. The next time, I had appointment for myself and my youngest child, which was our first visit in her office on Oct. 28, 2013. Again, my youngest child and I were in and out within 15 minutes. What I learned: She has no assistant or hygienist working with her so she tries to do everything herself. She does an incredibly sloppy job of examining, cleaning and taking partial x-rays. She was in and out of the office, very dismissive and has very poor communication skills. At one point she hands me a cup of water and a funnel and walked away. I said, "Excuse me. Would you like me to rinse now or wait until youre finished cleaning?" She said, "Oh rinse now." I couldnt believe it since she barely cleaned my teeth, just the fronts. I would not recommend her at all. I have insurance and intend to file a complaint with my provider as well. I believe she does list all these services on her invoices as having been provided to patients, but in actuality fails to provide proper service at the very bare minimum/acceptable level.

Im really not one to post negative reviews. In my whole life have taken the time to write maybe ONE. This is number two. Dr. Cynthia Miller DDS off Crossroads Drive was very rough, rushed and completely inconsiderate. She jabbed way too hard , didnt fully apply the numbing gel before injecting the needle and told me "pay now or pay later " during the third needle stick. She later said "wow you really are a lightweight ". My gums hurt more than any prior treatment and this was just for a filling. Her office did not appear clean and had a sour smell. The first time (for a cleaning) I thought that maybe the smell was from someones lunch. This time was the first person of the day first thing in the morning and it was definitely the office itself. When I posted my experience on a Facebook page for Owings Mills residents, THREE more people reported similar experiences, two recent and one from years ago. Buyer beware. For real.

Dr. Miller is very rude, dismissive and unprofessional. Dr. miller made several mistakes on a rue-teen crown procedure and could not fix the problem. We had to go to another dentist to fix the problem caused by Dr. Miller. Dr. Miller said repeatedly that she would return the money that was paid to her. Dr. Miller was paid 12/2012, it is now 7/2013, Dr. Miller has not returned any of the money. Dr. Miller was paid by the insurance company and by the patient, however another dentist had to be paid to clean up after Dr. Miller. Public Please Beware of this Dentist if you care about your health and safety.

I had a toothache that was just starting to be painful late on a Friday afternoon. The earliest appointment I could get was for first thing Monday morning (a miracle in itself) but at 7:00 on FRIDAY NIGHT, Dr. Miller called me, discussed the problem and reminded me that that tooth had a crown on it. She suspected I should have a root canal right away, phoned in a prescription for antibiotics, and gave me contact info for two endodontists close to my house and on my dental plan. Let me say that a dentist that takes time out of her Friday evening to help her patients is alway worth going to.

My kids have been visiting Dr. Miller for about 2 years. Ive also 2 referred family members and she has gone over and beyond making them happy. I had a root canal from another doctor ( who didnt do a good job), I called her she saw me same day and when I had a problem serveral months down the road due to no fault of Dr. Miller she once again came to my aid. The front office is also friendly and helpful.

I went there the first time because they were close to home and had a convenient appointment time and I had a great first impression. I felt that she cared about my teeth from the beginning. I have referred family members there as well.

Ive been a patient of Dr Miller since approx. 1995. She has always done a fine job with me & my family (although theres one story from 1997 that I wish she would stop telling!)
