I was new to this dental practice. When I called they seemed very concerned about my issue and what was going on. The staff got me in to see the doctor promptly.I didnt even have to wait to be seen on either of my visits!! I have never been to more friendly, upbeat practice before ever!! Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was genuinely caring and concerned for my well being. They made me feel so comfortable and right at home. Even before I went into have my consultation the actual doctor called me to see if I had any questions before we met the next day. I had to have a surgical procedure done on my tooth and was very anxious and nervous about it. (Thats an understatement.) The staff made sure I thoroughly understood what was gonna happen and made sure I was completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure. I also took notice that the staff in the office truly worked together as team and did various things for each other to make things run more smoothly in the office, even if it was not part of their particular job. I will continue to come back to this office in the future and I cannot say enough great things about this practice! I was very impressed!! Dr.Ninh is the best! He even called the evening of my procedure on his personal time to make sure everything was going well. I thank you all for such a positive experience!

I have to say that of all the Dentists I have seen over the years , Dr OShea by far has been my best experience. Both he and his staff are truly genuine, friendly and professional. In just a few minutes you can tell that they truly care about their patients and love what they do. A truly rare commodity these days. If I could put 6 stars I truly would. I had a simple filling put in and this dentist actually called me after hours the following day to make sure I had a good experience and that everything was ok. That extra care absolutely floored me and my wife. I can guarantee you that within a year you will be hard pressed to get an appointment as I expect his practice to flourish. I came in initially because I was in pain. I showed up for my appointment very early that first time. The staff left their lunch to take care of me, (who does that these days)? Dr. Ninh called me that evening to check and see how I was doing. Dr. Ninh is a great dentist and is so caring. It really is a shame he is leaving. The staff are so sweet and caring. It is easy to feel like you have joined a family that cares about your needs and dental health. My initial visit was due to a family referral; however, that was not what made me want to stay. It was Dr. Ninh and the competent friendly staff. I have met the new dentist and he seems very nice.

I have been coming to Academy Dental Care for almost ten years. I previously saw Dr. Modic and havent met the new dentist yet but I love the rest of the staff (shout out to Holly and Brenda!). Everyone is so welcoming and nice - they completely take away all of the typical fears most people associate with going to the dentist. The only downside - my insurance considers this place out of network but I STILL come here because I love them so much! Update: I have been working with Dr. OShea and have been very pleased with the care I have received. He is efficient, honest and personable. AND my insurance is now accepted! :)

The best dental practice I have ever been too! I woke up with a swollen face and gums in tremendous pain. I called the friendly staff and received a same day appointment within hours. Im a high risk case due to my rare heart conditions and I am hard to numb. Dr. OShea was excellent. He investigate my heart diseases and the medicines I needed to avoid. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. The facility is beautiful and the entire staff was top notch. My family will all be seeing Dr. OShea. The Academy Dental Care is a blessing to the community.

I really liked the Dental Assistant and Dr. Modic. However, I felt a little ripped off. I pain $260 today for what I thought was going to be a checkup and cleaning. They didnt clean a thing. Took xrays and went over each tooth but thats it for all that money. Now, I get to come back again for the cleaning plus, maybe, get the work done Dr. Modic suggests. I will go back because I believe the care was great but that doesnt stop me from feeling a little ripped off, used and misled by what todays visit would be.

What a great experience I had today. Brenda greeted me at the front door and made me feel like family. Jennifer took great care in making sure I wasn’t so nervous. It’s the first time I have been to the dentist and wasn’t scared. I felt very comfortable. Dr. Shea was amazing explaining exactly what had to be done and taking my feelings and worries in to consideration while making sure I was still be taken care of. What a great bunch of people, what an amazing team.

My first visit to this office was for a massive tooth infection. I got an appointment the day I called. Dr OShea assessed my problem immediately and Dr Mihn performed the procedure to relieve the pain. I have had the same wonderful experience with my follow up visits. I am VERY happy and highly recommend this dental practice. They truly do care!

Today I saw Dr. Modic on an emergency basis. The girls at the front desk got me in quickly and Dr. Modic was amazing! I had a filling fall out when I was eating a mint. The injury caused me pain. Dr. Modic was gentle and repaired the damage. Dr. Modic and his staff are always wonderful! My visit today was Excellent!
