I think that its important that my experience with this office staff goes on record somewhere. The office staff has been unprofessional and rude to me multiple times throughout the four years that I brought my daughters the Dr. Ferra. I suffered their rudeness because I liked Dr. Ferra so much. We found ourselves stranded without a doctor on a weekend when we needed a return call, and the doctor on call did not respond to her pages. When I finally got ahold of Dr. Ferras staff, they couldnt care less about what had happened and I was subjected to the usual curt, rude, dismissive behavior I had come to expect. I even took a blow from the receptionist when she made a discriminatory remark in regards to us being uninsured patients. I informed them that I would be switching doctors and was told to send a written letter and payment and that the files would take a week to be transferred to my new pediatrician. I did this, and my check was deposited, but a month and a half later, my files were still not sent. I had sent a certified letter as a follow up to my initial letter, still nothing. I couldnt believe that they had, in essence, stolen my money! I asked Dr. Ferra to personally see to it that my files were transferred in a timely fashion, and he didnt. He also never returned my call, and never responded to my letter which astounded me! I finally called the office again...and got the one friendly staff member to send my files over that day. Were at a new doctor and the professionalism we receive there is night and day! I wish I had switched years ago!!!

The negative comment on here could not be further from the truth. I spent a lot of time at Dr. Ferras office during the same time, and was completely impressed with the compassion and professional care we received. My newborn twins were overwhelming at times and the office was always willing to give advice during the many tearful phonecalls I had with them. Dr. Ferra gave immediate care and never made me feel like a clueless new mom. The office staff were the only reciptionists in the Baltimore County area that I have come across who were NOT rude and dismissive. If you are looking for a pediatrition, dont go any further. This office is wonderful!

Love, Love, Love this practice and every one of the staff members! Dr. Ferra is very attentive and patient with new parents. He even opened the office on a weekend to diagnose my toddler! Super friendly and very responsive. Excellent scheduling, I have never been denied an appointment and my concerns have never been dismissed or ignored. We travel from Westminster to see Dr. Ferra and it is well worth the distance! 5 stars!

Been with Dr. Pete for 11 years. Very laid back but assertive if something needs to be addressed. He is thorough, quick and awesome with kids. Even saw my daughter on a Saturday for an sick emergency. The whole office is old school- Treat them as professionals and no problems!

I have been visiting Dr. Ferra for 30 YEARS! Albeit, now its with my 2 boys. He has been an amazing doctor. Last year, he met us at the office on a Holiday Weekend, because he knew he could diagnose it quickly instead of making us sit in an ER for hours with a screaming kid!
