Ive always had a fear of going to the dentist office, from stories Ive heard of other people or just my personal experience. I did a search on my insurance website of local dentist in my area and Dr. Gbenles office was one that showed up. Initially I picked her office because they were accepting new patients at the time and the proximity of my home was convenient. The Saturday availability was a plus as well! After receiving an appointment date, I was immediately in fear of going.....again, from past experiences. From the moment I walked in her staff exemplified SUPERIOR customer service! I was still afraid though. From the moment I went in the back and met Dr. Gbenle, she was very pleasant in introducing herself. Some dentist just walk in and get to work, with little introduction. Dr. Gbenle could sense my fear and asked was I ok. I told her of my general fear of seeing a dentist and I think I was having a not-so-great day overall. Dr. Gbenle listened and asked could she pray. She did and immediately I felt overcome with ease and joy. She also made me aware of the definition for Shalom meant "peace". Dr. Gbenle began to work on my mouth and was humming what seemed to be a spiritual. I didnt mind as it was soothing. I never felt any pain, other than the a pinch from the needle which provided medicine to numb my mouth. Long story short, my dental work was done with ease and comfort. She invited me to her church and I visited. I had a wonderful experience there and she was still the pleasant person outside of the office as she was inside her dentist office. That was a year ago, or a little over and I am STILL a patient of Dr. Gbenles! God is good as he sent me in the direction of a wonderful person and dentist. She even calls to check on me. Her work is done with perfection as well. I am a very, very happy patient! If you havent visited her office, please do so!! Outstanding and well worth! I love her.

I was referred to Shalom Dental. While calling for an appointment I was nervous because of my fear of going to the dentist. One my first visit Dr.G and her whole staff welcome me in. They all were so professional, kind, loving and everything they said ended with a smile. I felt welcomed and not afraid anymore. The Dental assistance gave me a tour of the entire office. I really enjoyed that I have never felt that welcoming into a new environment. I know Dr. G new I was nervous she walked me through each and every step and explained to me you have no worries you are in good hands. On my second visit I was so nervous to get my teeth extracted but Dr. G was so gentle it didnt hurt at all. She walked me through it all even made jokes with me. She didnt mind answering any questions I ask her while completing and finishing the work on my visit. All that fear and I had nothing to worry about. I am so proud my brother referred me and I have found a new home. She lives by her motto creating smiles with Passion, Harmony and Value. Her and her staff has shown me that. Thanks again Dr.G!

My experience at Shalom Dental was far better than amazing. As soon as I steeped in, I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. The staff greeted me with a friendly smile, which gave me assurance that I was in capable hands. The atmosphere was beautiful. It was filled with the latest technology in the dental field and best of all you felt Gods love throughout the rooms, written all around the office space were motivational words such as Faith, Hope, and etc. At the end of my appointment I didnt feel like another patient. Dr. Gbenle was so kind enough to talk to me and gave me advice on how to better my teeth. Like I said my experience was far better than amazing. If you are around the D.C Metropolitan, make sure to stop by Shalom Dental to see for yourself.

Dr. Gbenle was awesome and her team to match. I have always dreaded going tothe dentist because they murder during the cleaning process. Dr. Gdenle was so gental and I had no residual bleeding. The initial service was so good that I went back to get 3 fillings filled. Now, being that this was my first cavity at the age of 30, I was terrified. From all of the grusome stories I heard I just knew I was in for a world of pain. Not this visit!! I needed NO anesthetic and I fell NO PAIN after she filled 3 fillings. Also, the decor is very beautiful, calming, and inviting. It truly felt like a dental spa. Thank you so much Dr. Gbenle! I plan on bringing my 6 year old very soon.

I am certainly glad to share my wonderful experience with Shalom Dental. Everyone on the staff from Dr. Gbenle to her assistants are all very pleasant to be around. The atmosphere of the office is so peaceful. no wonder the name SHALOM (The peace of God) I recommend this dental establishment to anyone. The cleaning I received was painless.. I can use these words to describe my visit " Oh taste and see that the Lord is good" Psalm 34:8. OH COME AND SEE THAT SHALOM DENTAL IS GOOD !!!

Dr Gbenle is an awesome dentist. Shes very thorough, personable, and friendly; makes you feel welcome at each visit. Her staff is very nice too, always greet you with a smile and great customer service. I love the atmosphere of the office - each room (area) has its own name I.e. Hope, faith, etc. its conveniently located off of the beltway and in the same building as a Veterans (across from Andrews AFB). I highly recommend that you pay the office a visit. You wont be disappointed.

I am been going here since 2013. What impresses me the most is that Dr.Gbenle is son personable and when we worked in the same building she would always go out of her way to say hello. She has truly survived some tough times buy she has nevered complained nor has she went down in service. I love her new staff they are friendly, professional and responsive. I love that this is also a Christian based business. The atmosphere is clean, positive and modern.

I have always been afraid of the Dentist office. My first visit was so very pleasing. The staff was during the job more than 100%. Even gave me a tour of the office. The office is in a nice environment and is very clean. I never thought that I would be the one to say I am looking forward to my next visit. Dr. Gbenle explain every thing to me and what needed to be done. I would always be a patient there.

The office is very nice and clean with state of the art equipment. The staff is friendly and Dr. Gbenle is among the best dentists Ive seen. She too is friendly, professional and gentle.
