That Guy

A first appointment with Dr Baratz was made three weeks ago for last week. Missed it and called to schedule again, this time with some painful nerve damage that just happened. I already been to the ER and saw an orthopedic for it. Baratz office found another slot. They told me I had to go to the ER and the orthopedics office to get my records. Never been asked to get my own records before. After setting another appt. Baratz office quickly called back to say there are no new patients taken now and he cannot see me. I fought back a little because I just set two different appts as a new patient. They said he can refuse whoever he wants to. I believe this is because I told them I was in documented pain, why else the quick change in accepting patients? The receptionist was rather abrasive, genuinely incompetent and curt as well. I guess this is what 3rd world medical care is like.

I have to say this is the finest doctor I have ever had. Four years back he saved my life. He caught a serious disease that I would have died from within days if not treated immediately. Most recently Dr. Baratz discovered I was suffering from a serious health problem,caught in early stages due to his diligence. This man not only treats the whole patient but his or her loved ones.I trust him completely with my life. One does not need a fancy office to be an outstanding medical professional.
