Hi, i brought my 1 y/o yorkie to dr. Nicholson on a emergency basis. As she was very very ill and needed surgery asap. The staff brought her right in for a exam. At the conclusion of the exam dr. Nicholson said nova would need surgery and carefully explained the procedure to be done and the pros and cons the (worst being death.) And he could do surgery that afternoon and barring any complications she could go home late after noon early evening. Which was the end result. Surgery was a scuess! And my little nova went on to a speedy recovery. I cant say enough. About dr. Nicholson, debbie and his vet tech. Alixisis. Awesome people with a true compassion for our pets and therehuman companions. Thank you all for saveing my little k-9 friend. Ill never forget what you all did for us that day..Thank you!! Well after this past visit, not sure if we want to take our animal back to this place. They are more concerned with the all mighty buck than the pet itself. Because of a reaction our pet had the last time it got rabies and distemper, the DR said come back in two weeks and we will do the second shot and I wont charge you for a visit, so we did. Upon check out, not only did they want to us to pay for tech time, they charged a $5 fee just to dispose of a needle. Then they refused to take the tech time off the bill, when we were only expecting to be charged for the shot. At the end, they were like fine, we will take the fee off but you should also take the pets records with you ! Really? Like I said, the all mighty buck.. no wonder this place changes personnal....

I want a Vet that cares about my pet and not how much money they can get out of you. Post road only cares about the money. After my dog was first diagnosed with Lyme Disease, $550.00 dollars later after treatment, the Lyme re-emerged. My dog was limping again , could barely walk , and had a high fever 3 days after we finished the antibiotics. For 2 weeks I tried to get an appointment, to no avail and then went and sat at their office for 2 hours in hopes of getting seen. There is no personal relationships developed here and I do not recommend them.

We called on an early Saturday morning explaining that our elder dog was ill and we knew there wasnt much more we could do for him. After being blown off completely by another veterinarian in the area this one took us in no problem. They comforted us during our hardest time and made sure this process was peaceful, quick and as painless as possible. Thank you for your exceptional attentiveness and willingness to help our dog in his final day.

We have gone to Post Road Vet for years now, caring staff, solid vets. We tried 3 other vets / vetetinary clinics in area with poor service and poor results including unneeded surgery, you get what you pay for ... equals ....at Post Road Vet we have gotten excellent care for our 5 pugs. I recently started using Post Road. Dr. Nicholson is wonderful. He has helped me deal with my dogs difficult (and expensive) skin allergies. For the first time in ages, my dog is comfortable. I cant say enough about the time and efforts he has spent getting Bear comfortable again. Thank you!
